Chapter 3: Wait What?

As Joe forced his legs to move, there was a car driving down the ring and in it was Shadow hoping to make it in time. Joe carried the body with not much strength and rushed towards the car.
TIME SKIP: AT THE HOSPITAL
Cherry's Point Of View
"God my head hurts", he thought. "Am I dying? Am I dead?". Oh how great that would be, he thought. I wouldn't have to wake up and live to regret my friendship and unrequited love for Adam. He frowned at the thought.
Suddenly Cherry felt warmth in his right palm as he gained consciousness. "Huh?"Groaning at the pain when he sat up, he was surprised by what he thinks he sees. The Gorilla was holding his hand? As his muscular body rised and fell in the slow motion of breathing, Cherry's cheeks flushed bright pink at the sight of such affection, but strangely pleased with the attention. "What does this big ape think he's-", then the blushing parient was interrupted with the sudden movement of the ape. He was waking up. "Crap!", Cherry whispered. The patient quickly laid back down and pretended to be asleep.
Joe yawned and was sore from the long night they both just had and remembered where they are and how they got there. He frowned at the thought and gazed upon Cherry, who was now blushing like crazy. Joe gazed at the unconscious body laying on the bed and noticed the abnormal pink in the patient's cheeks. "Does he have a fever?", thought the stupid Gorilla out loud. Cherry laughed to himself at the stupid question but kept his body still, continuing to "sleep". Joe placed his palm on Cherry's forehead actually concerned about the matter and he almost flinched at the touch. "He does feel a little warm", Joe thought out loud. And he stood up and walked out of the room in search of a doctor.
When Joe finally left the room, Cherry let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Wait why am I pretending to be asleep again?", Cherry thought to himself and he shrugged not giving the event that just happened another thought.
