REKI'S POINT OF VIEW
"What am I going to do!?", Reki thought. The memories of Langa chasing him down the hall and pinning him against the wall started to flood his mind. "He even k-kissed me-", Reki thought out loud making his face extremely red.
"Reki!", Kyomi called (Reki's younger sister), upset that he wouldn't stop mumbling to himself. "Oh- sorry Kyomi. What were you saying?", Reki replied with a nervous laugh. "As I was saying, does this dress look good on me? It doesn't make me look fat does it?", she asked as she twirled around the mirror. "No, you look fine. Can I go now?", Reki answered not at all interested in her appearance. "Ugh. You're no help brother! No wonder Langa hasn't asked you out yet.", said his sister trying to mumble under her breath.
Reki froze at the comment and turned to his sister, still starring at herself. "W-What did you just say?, Reki stuttered. "I said, no wonder Langa hasn't asked you-", Kiyomi stopped mid-sentence covering her mouth. "I mean that was supposed to be a secret...", she said nervously.
"Langa was going to ask me out?!", Reki thought to himself. And he remembered the confession he was given at the hospital; "Reki. I love you. Not as a friend, but as something more. I'll wait for your answer." Reki's face turned bright red at the thought and his sister laughed at the sight.
But then he covered his face as reasks the question that made his mind boil before. "What am I going to do now?". "Reki?", Kiyomi asks concerned with his reaction. "What's wrong? You like him back don't you?"
You like him?
"Do I like Langa?", Reki asked himself. "I mean he's always been there for me. He always comes for my advice which makes me really happy. And when he acts like a puppy I think it's really cute. Cute? I think Langa is cute?"Dang... I guess I really do like Langa. "And I'll wait for your answer". As Reki remembered Langa say that, he stood up, walked over, and hugged his sister. "Thank you Kiyomi!". "For what?", she asked. But before he answered her, he bolted out the door running towards the skate park. "And I'll wait for your answer", "Sorry for the wait Langa. It's coming", Reki thought as he raced down the street.
