[ One-shot Book ]

Nightmares. [ Spec x Wisp | Fluff ]

                       "Mama, what are we doing? Why do we have to celebrate so late at night?"

       "I don't like this.. isn't the forest dangerous at night? I don't wanna stand so close to it."

                                                    "I wanna go home, this isn't fun anymore.."

                                                                             "PLEASE NO-"

                                                                                           --

                                                                                    "WAIT!"

She sat up, breathing heavily and looking around in panic.

Tears formed in her eyes as she slowly came to realize she was just dreaming, the tears fell down her face as she hugged herself and looked down, not noticing her husband who had woken up.

"Mm, what's wrong..?" He yawned, sitting up. "It was just a dream, it's nothing to worry about." Wisp squinted. "The negativity you're producing, and those tears falling could say otherwise." Spec chuckled slightly, leaning against the headboard. "Do you want to talk about it?" Spec shook her head, wiping the tears away.

Spec shifted and laid down, her back facing towards Wisp while she tried to just fall back asleep.

Wisp moved closer, gently wrapping his arms around her. "You don't have to hide your feelings." Wisp frowned, he really never enjoyed seeing her so sad.

Spec turned around and hugged him, hiding her face in his chest while she let her guard down, letting the tears fall.

He pet her head, whispering some encouraging words.

"You're alright, it's okay."

"You're being so strong, love."

Spec eventually calmed down, just sniffling while she hugged Wisp. "..sorry about that." She moved a bit, hiding her face even more if that was possible. "There's no reason to be sorry about your feelings." He softly kissed her head, relaxing. "Let's go back to sleep now, okay?" Spec nods, also relaxing.

"..I'll protect you from anything that comes, so you don't have to be  afraid anymore."

i know i have other ships but spec x wisp is really cute >:(

anyways the next page of wilting flowers wont be late, it'll be posted either in the afternoon of tomorrow or morning, whenever i get some time.
