He sat down on his chair, huffing a bit as he turned on the monitor, snagging some pieces of paper and connecting the newly built robot to the computer.

"That should be it.. right? God why can't I remember anything today?" He hit himself in the head, looking around the room in a rather sluggish manner.

He decided he had everything he needed, pausing his search and heading to the chair, sitting down and preparing everything on his monitor. "Okay, no distractions, let's just do this.." He began his work, typing furiously.

Though, to his dismay, a certain someone had noticed their absence, and began searching the house for them. "Tex-yy? Where are you?" Viros, his small, but certainly amazing lover called out, catching his attention enough to get him to respond on instinct. "My office!"

Viros quickly shuffled in, his face becoming one of annoyance as he saw Tex going back to his work.

"Tex.. you said you'd be resting." He huffed. "Sorry, there's a problem in this guy's system that I need to fix." Viros had none of this, simply walking over and tugging on Tex' arm. "Love.. just a few more minutes?" Tex pouted. "Ehm.. no! You need to rest, you haven't slept for god knows how long!"

Tex, beginning to get frustrated, began their tug of war.

..except it wasn't really war, it was just Viros doing the right thing, and Tex refusing the help.

Viros scrambled over to the monitor, as he had basically memorized the process of turning things off from witnessing it so many times. "BabY- please stop-" Tex gently pulled him closer, right onto his lap and scooted his chair backwards.

"Don't do that.. it won't take me long to finish, I promise." Viros whined, trying to escape from his grip. "You need sleep!" He slid off the other's lap, turning to face Tex with his arms crossed. "Come on, you're getting rest whether you like it or not." He pulled Tex, dragging him towards the exit of Tex' workplace.

"Babyy.." Tex pouts, though he wasn't fighting against the dragging.

As much as he'd hate to admit it, the tiredness was getting to him, so much so that he couldn't even fight against his small lover for too long.

They traversed their way through the house, eventually arriving in their shared bedroom.

"Go lay down, I'll be right back." Viros shuffled off, leaving Tex to sit down on the bed.

Tex wasn't much for sleeping alone.. not long after moving in with Viros did he begin to depend on the other to help him sleep.

He was honestly scared to sleep alone, despite the size difference, Viros made him feel like nothing could touch him, he was safe from the dangers of the world.

It didn't take very long until Viros returned, holding a glass of warm milk in his hand, he placed it down on their nightstand. "Here, it helps you sleep better." He smiled softly. "Thank you.." Viros climbed onto the bed, sitting beside him and gently pushing him closer to the pillows. "Do you need anything else?" Tex paused for a moment, to think.

"Could you.." He hesitated, embarrassed to request anything more. "Yes?" Viros waited patiently for an answer, he knew Tex wasn't really one for asking, it was just a small detail he had noticed throughout their days of being together.

"Could you stay with me? Until i.. fell asleep?" Viros just smiled more, grabbing the glass of milk and handing it to Tex. "Of course I can."

"Thank you, again.." Tex carefully sipped some, placing it back on the nightstand and laying down, with Viros following in suit.

Tex wrapped his arms around his lover, hiding his face in their shoulder as he relaxed. "Sweet dreams.."

At last, they both slept together, safe in each other's arms.

Nothing could disturb them.

Or could it?
