"Are you still in pain?" Haike asked as he petted Qiling head who was drinking his tea. The boy gave him an glare who read "Are you fucking serious"
"Hahaha. I know. Stupid question" he said with a small chuckle. "But seriously. How long does it take that guy to get here? Did he get lost or something?" He could have taken a taxi too. It's not like he hadn't gave him the address and he let him to guess where they are insted. Or track Qiling phone.

As of on cue a couple of minutes later they heard knocking at the door. With a finally under his breath, Haike stood up and he opened the door. When he saw the guy enter he was surprised to see that he was pretty young. Haike was expecting someone older considering that he was prone to threats 24/7.

"Qiling" Wu Xie said as he walked inside and he immediately walked toward his lover only for him to stand up from the chair and walk backwards a little. Wu Xie stopped and he frowned for a few seconds before he was about to walk again but he was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. "I think that you should only let the pills and leave."

"Who the hell are you anyway?" Wu Xie snapped.

"Not your business."

"Yes it is. I'm this close to make you regret the day you were born"

Haike smirked. "Oh really? And how are you planning to do that? Do you carry a weapon or something"

Qiling knew that it's was a possibility for the ex assassin to do that. He knew that well.

Flashback

"Are you seriously carrying a weapon after you?" Qiling asked as he saw the glint of the gun strapped to his lover ankle. He wouldn't have noticed it if it wouldn't have glowed in the sun. His only answer was a shrug from Wu Xie.

" Are you kidding me? "Qiling asked as he saw a knife inside Wu Xie pillow case .." How did you not stab yourself in the head all this time you slept with a knife in your pillowcase? "

Luck. He said back then when he asked him about the knife.

He also said that even if he had gave up to the job of the assassin he still have his enemies out there and he prefer to carry weapons to be safe. He also said that he was used like this and it's a habit he can't get rid of.

After that Qiling had still found some weapon hidden in different place of the house and he was carry with him one, sometimes too. He had long stopped asking about it or saying anything..

So yeah. If Wu Xie had brought a weapon with him, now he wouldn't have been surprised.

"Stop it you two" Qiling said and both his cousin and Wu Xie looked at him. "Wu Xie. This is my cousin. Zhang Haike." After he said that he could see that Wu Xie relaxed a little as he realized that the other man is not a threat. "Haike. Wu Xie is not a threat. Or I hope anyway"

"If you don't know if he's a threat or not. Why are you even with him anyway?"

"Because I'm his lover" Wu Xie said it like it's the most obvious thing. And Haike was pretty shocked. Especially since Qiling told him that Wu Xie was just a friend.

"Are you really?" Qiling snapped immediately he heard that he ignored Wu Xie shocked look. Normally he wouldn't have confronted Wu Xie about it because he was not ready. And a part of him didn't wanted to believe that Wu Xie was the culprit. Now he understands why the first time he had meet him he said that he doesn't want to be protected by a killer.
"Because last time I checked a lover doesn't kill their lover parents"

Both Wu Xie and Haike froze. He knew why Haike did. The killer of his aunt and uncle was in his house. But Wu Xie? He guessed that he didn't expected for him to have found out.

Qiling have Wu Xie a betrayed look and he didn't bothered with the medication. He preferred the pain. At least it's wasn't as painful as his heartbreak. He turned around and he walked back in his room

"Qiling..." Wu Xie was about to go after him but he was stopped by Haike. "You have ten seconds to get out of here before I call the police. And don't get near my cousin ever again"

Wu Xie pulled the pills on the table before he walked out. He knew that it's was pointless to stay. He doubts that if his lover doesn't believe him, the man here would.

So he left without saying anything or looking back. Once he walked out from the building he pulled out his phone and called a number. After a few rings the person answered. He was not even surprised that he hadn't woke them.

"Its me. I need a favor. If you do this for me I promise that I will do anything that you want"

"Qiling. Can I enter?" Haike said as he knocked at the door. "I promise that he had left and he won't get near you ever again.

Even though he hadn't received any answer Haike stil walked in the room. He sighed as he saw his precious little cousin on the bed against the headboard, hugging his knees. He sat down in the bed and he handed him the pill and water and Qiling took them without a fuss.

Haike moved so he was sitting beside Qiling and he wrapped an arm around and his shoulders and he pulled him closer greatful that he didn't fought against him and he actually leaned and realxed against him.

"In a few days after I will finish my business as well as visit Rishan I will go back in Hong Kong. Say Qiling. Do you want to come with me?"

A few seconds of silence before the answer was said. "Yes."
