Shortly after Shlatt stormed out, the door was carefully and quietly pushed open. I saw messy brown hair and floppy ears peak their way in the room before Tubbo shoved himself through the small opening.

"(Y/N)! What happened?"

"I didn't make it far, I guess," I stifled a laugh from the seat I was seated in.

Tubbo ran over to me, pulling out a bandage and medicine for my shoulder.

"I thought you- you were going to escape," I was holding back tears as he treated my shoulder.

"I got stopped, and Fundy has always been just a little bit faster than me, I guess."

"Fundy did this!"

"Ya," I said, defeated.

The room stayed silent as Tubbo finished taking care of my shoulder.

"Shlatt asked me to speak at the festival tomorrow," Tubbo broke the silence, "and Wilbur wants to use it as a signal for the explosion; I don't know what to do."

"Tubbo, I've been thinking," I responded, "has Shlatt even done anything that bad?"

"(Y/N) what do you mean?"

"Sure, he's imposing these harsh taxes on some, but-"I hesitated, "his choices haven't been that bad, he tore down the walls which hasn't been that bad, and changing the name of L'Manberg only hurt our pride."

"I guess you're right."

"And the festival is going to be good for us," I sighed.

"So, what do I do?"

"Whatever you think is right."

Tubo finished taking care of my shoulder and stood.

"Well, let's get going before Shlatt gets back." He started the door as I followed close behind him.

The two of us walked out of the large building, being met by a golden sunset as we slowly went down the hill. By the time we made it to the van, the sun had set past the horizon, and small shimmering stars had dotted the sky.

Tubbo opened the creaky door into the van as I followed him inside. He pulled down our two beds from the wall. He helped me onto my bed as I sat down.

"I'm fine, Tubbo."

"Are you sure?"

"Ya! It'll take more than just that little bite to take me down," I chirped, parking up my ears and tail to try and convince him of my words.

"If you say so," he said, questioning my words, "Well, I need to go to bed. I've got a lot of work to do to finish decorating before the festival."
