It had been a week since the festival. My hearing was fully restored, and some of my vision in my evil eye. Tubbo woke up just a day or two ago and seemed fine, just a little traumatized. Techno and Tommy seemed to calm down once Tubbo woke as the ravine was quiet except for Wilbur muttering in his room.Wilbur had been in his room since the festival, only coming out every now and then for food or other things he needed. I decided to go check up on him, holding a plate full of food. Nikki had become a fantastic asset to us as she was our cleaner, doctor, and cook, and she was a tremendous cook. She made the regular potatoes taste different every day. She even managed to get steak sometimes.
"Sir?" I gently knocked on Wilbur's door before gently pushing it open, "you didn't come down to eat, so I thought I'd bring some up here." Wilbur was hunched over his table. Papers were thrown everywhere as dark bags had continued to grow under his eyes.
"(Y/N)?" he called for me as I was placing a plate of food on his table.
"Yes, sir."
"(Y/N) do you think we're the bad guys?"
I let out a sigh; this question had been asked to several people.
"Will we're not the bad guys here," I hesitated, "sure; we're taking a different route than heroes would, but Shlatt's a bad man."
"But he's not (Y/N)."
"Sir, with all due, you didn't live under his rule. He is a cruel, cold man."
"But you were on our side," He said, standing to turn towards me, "he acted like that to you because you were his enemy."
I was unable to talk before he spoke again.
"(Y/N) the festival wasn't a bad thing-"
"He was going to kill Tubbo and me," I cut him off violently.
"We didn't know that when we were planting the TNT underneath the town. We didn't know that when I hit the button to blow it all up."
"I think you need some time to cool off," I spoke before he could continue, turning to leave. I re-entered the large ravine being met by Tommy.
"How is he?"
"Not any better," I let out a sigh walking past the younger boy.
I walked through the ravine, looking for the others. I poked my head into Techno's farm only to find an empty room and far too many potatoes for us. Nowadays, Techno is in and out all the time, no one knew what he was doing when he went out, but no one really bothered to find out. I climbed the staircase, making my way up to the surface.
Once I made it outside, I walked to a large clearing lying down in the center. I needed a break from the ravine. The small clearing had become a getaway for me as it was peaceful and quiet, a stark difference from the ravine that barely got quiet with Tommy awake.
I had started drifting off to sleep as a sudden crack disturbed the peaceful scene. I sat up quickly, searching for the cause of the sound. The reason soon enough came into the clearing. All I needed to see was the black hair peeking out of a beanie to know who it was. I stumbled to my feet, reaching to wear my sword normally to find that it wasn't there.
"Don't worry!" he raised his hands, "I come in peace."
"What do you want?" I spoke harshly.
"I'm tired of helping that drunk," I dropped his hands, "I want to help you guys."
