Chapter 2 - The Sneaky Devil

Shurima, here we come.

A few minutes later, Ezreal got hungry and grabbed his blueberry muffins from his backpack. He ate one and he saw Isabella, looking at him.

"Uhm, something wrong?" Ezreal asked while he was chewing.

"I'm hungry. Soooooo hungry. Can I have some?" Isabella grabbed one blueberry muffin from the paper bag without waiting for Ezreal's answer.

"Uhm, yeah. You're welcome." Ezreal rolled his eyes. "You want some, Eric?"

"Ah, no thanks. I already ate." Eric answered with a smile.

Ezreal nodded and ate another one.

"What time is it?" Isabella asked while she grabbed another blueberry muffin. Ezreal got annoyed. Okay, did she just-

Eric grabbed his pocket watch from his pocket. "It's 10:30."

"Agh, geez. We're still far away." Isabella said while she's grabbing another blueberry muffin until Ezreal grabbed her hand.

"I think you have enough." Ezreal said sarcastically.

"Wow, you're so rude." Isabella grabbed Ezreal's hand and let it go hardly.

Ezreal mimicked her and hid his blueberry muffins in his backpack so that Isabella won't take another one.

"How many hours are we still far away from Shurima?" Isabella asked Eric. "Do you know?"

"Sorry, but I'm not really sure."

Isabella looks at Ezreal and raised an eyebrow.

"If it's 10:32 now, then we still have four more hours to get there." Ezreal said.

"Oh, really?" Isabella scoffed. "And how do you know that?"

"What do you think? I'm an explorer, I've been to Shurima for a million times plus I explore every regions of Runeterra. Except for Ionia, I haven't been there."

"No one cares, Ezreal. But thanks or whatever."

Ezreal and Isabella rolled their eyes at each other.

"So uhm, if you don't mind me asking... why are you guys going to Shurima?" Eric asked.

"Well we're going to find a stone." Isabella answered. "A stone that is called the Tear of The Goddess."

"Oh, wow! That's interesting!"

"Indeed it is."

"Where will you guys find it in Shurima though?"

"Legends say that the Tear of The Goddess is hidden in many temples." Ezreal jumped in the conversation. "But there is one ancient temple that hasn't been fallen down hundred of years ago and from my memory, the Tear of The Goddess is the reason why."

"Wait, so if you're going to get the Tear of The Goddess, then that means the temple will fall?"

"Yep, that's right."

"But you guys are going to die!" Eric panicked. "No one will ever survive to that!"

"Yeah, but we're going to make it out in time!" Ezreal said while Isabella rolled her eyes. "So don't worry."

"Speaking of temples, I've also heard that there are many... weird creatures there these days."

"There are many creatures that are weird in temples!" Ezreal laughed. "Like lots of them!"

"Yes, that's true but that's not it. I have friends in Shurima and they sent me a letter a few weeks ago about a creature who... helped them from other creatures while they were in a temple, finding gold to buy some food and water for their families."
