It was wedding day and I'm kind of nervous because I know Remi ain't that close with his family so his friends are basically that for him. So this feels a lot like meeting the family and I hope they like me.
"You good" Remi said coming in the room.
"Yeah" I lied.
"Don't be nervous they are gonna love you" he said reading my mind.
"Are you sure, and also I think my dress is too much, I'm gonna go change" I said.
"Stop, the dress is fine, your perfect" he said taking both my hands and looking into my eyes calming me instantly.
"Okay I'm ready" I said after a few seconds and he nodded.
"Alannah hurry yo ass up" he yelled as we walked down the stairs.
"Shut up I'm ready" she said and I laughed.

We arrived at the wedding and we already swarmed with a bunch of photos. Remi starting talking to people and introducing me and I followed behind him.
We got to the table that we were assigned and stood by it.
"Guys this is Saffiya, Safiyya this is Layla and her son loyal, Jasmine, Micheal and Liam" he said and I took time greeting them one by one and sat down.
