Saffiya

There was a call on the hotel phone and I answered. "Hello is this Safiyya" the woman said.

"Yes"

"You have a visitor by the name of Jayla should I send her up" she said.

"Yes you can" I said and put the phone down.

After a few minutes there was a knock on the door. I opened the door and Jayla walked in with her bags.

"I checked out of the other hotel although I don't know why you moved. who's looking for you" she said sitting on the bed and looking at me.

"No one"

"So what the fuck is going on" she said frustrated and I sighed and told her about what happened at the store.

"What a fucking bitch" she said and I smiled lightly.

"So what happened after that cause I know that's not it" she asked.

"Nothing I just came here to be far away from her" she said.

"No you didn't you must of acting out I know you" she said and I sighed.

"I got drunk then Adrian found me and tried to take me back to the room but I cussed him out and now he's mad at me" I said.

"Oh my Fiyya" she said sighing.

"Then I tried to call you and you didn't pick up so I smashed my phone and packed my bags and left. But I was too drunk to drive so I walked and I-"

"And you what" she said.

"Came here" I lied.

"Fiyya"

"What did you do" she said seeing through my lies.

"I went to see Travon" I mumbled

"Huh" she said.

"I went to see Travon" I mumbled again.

"What Fiyya are you fucking crazy" she yelled.

"I didn't have anyone else"I replied.

"You have me, you have Adrian, you have your brother" she said.

"You know I can't talk to them and you got your own shit" I said.

"So what happened" she said.

"Nothing we just spoke and I left I didn't even give him my number I'm not going to go back there I'm over him Jayla" I said.

"Are you sure because you did go back" she said.

"Yes I'm sure I don't want him" I said playing with my nails.

"Well imma call Adrian so you don't feel like you need to go back to abusive ex's" she said and I didn't respond.

She pressed his contact and put it on loud speaker. It's rang a few times then stopped.
