"Daddy? Mommy?" he knocked on his parents' rooms' door and his father immediately came to welcome him.

"Yes, Jakey?" his mother asked.

"I am scared," he answered. "I don't want to sleep in my bed."

"Why?" his father asked.

"May mumu, Daddy. There are monsters under my bed."

His father chuckled and answered, "Hey, Jake. Listen. Monsters are not true. They are just products of human imaginations. And if there is any, hulihin mo and ibebenta na'tin sa circus. They will be attractions."

The little guy named Jake Villena smiled to his father, "Okay then, good night, Daddy." Then he gave him a hug. "Good night, Mommy," he went to his mother in the bed and kissed her on her cheeks.

He then got out and went to his bed. He turned the lights off and slept.

He is in a not so deep slumber yet when he heard a loud noise outside, so he went out to check it out. But he was stoned when he saw his parents lying on the floor, bathing with their own bloods.

He couldn't help but to cry. He then knelt in sorrow.

A few moments later, the phone rang. He climbed down the stair to answer the phone call. But before he was able to crab the phone he saw an envelope on the table. He opened it sobbing.

'Be careful. We're always watching behind you."

That was what's written on the letter.

The phone rang again, and this time, he answered it.

"Hey, little kid, bakit gising ka pa? Where's Mommy and Daddy?" the man on the other line asked.

"They are already dead. They killed them," he said, but no tears escaped from his eyes anymore. His teary eyes turned dark and full of hatred.

"Those monsters."
