chapter 16: back at UA

King arrived at UA pretty early the next day , because he wanted to make up for everything he had missed.

When he got there , he saw a familiar set of wings , it was Christina Lionheart.

He went to go say hi to her but stopped when he saw the look on her face , she also had bandages on her arms which she tried hiding under her school jacket.

She noticed him and quickly straightened up , " hey King senpai " she said.

" Hey Christina , lovely morning isn't it? " He asked , she looked at him confused.

" Yeah I guess..? " She said while looking at the sky.

They both stayed silent until King spoke , " what Happened? " He asked.

She looked at him , " what do you mean? ".

King walked up to her and held her left arm , he then scanned it and all the bandages , " I know it's probably none of my business but....as a friend I'm concerned , so what happened and how did you get these? " He said.

She turned away , " I.....I can't tell you senpai , if I do you'll be in danger " she said , she was holding back tears.

King had enough , he used his quirk and called his demon of foresight , he then looked into Christina's mind.

He saw a lot of things , he saw a tall male slapping her , and that same male injecting her with needles , he also saw two dark figures fighting each other. He basically saw everything that had happened to her.

Christina was still looking away but she noticed that King wasn't moving at all , but his eyes were covered with sadness.

King wanted to say something but if he did she might get in trouble , and he didn't want her to hurt anymore.

" Listen Christina " he said suddenly , making her look at him.

" I may not know or understand what's going on with you but I know is whatever it is or whoever it is , is hurting you and I don't like that one bit. I know that you don't want me to get involved but it's a habit of mine to help those i care about " he said , she was looking at him with widened eyes , " I'm your friend Christina and I won't ever let whoever did this to you get away with it , wether you want me to or not " he said.

When he finished he turned and started walking towards the school door , but stopped when he felt a warm hug from behind him and the sound of crying.

Christina was hugging him while crying , he turned around and hugged her.

" I just don't want you to leave me like my brother did " she said while crying.

King wanted to ask her about what she just said , but just let it be , " I'm here for you and trust me I'm not leaving any time soon " he said while wiping her tears.

After a while , she let go of him and stood straight , " um... King senpai ".

" Yeah " King said.

" Do you mind if I call you....big brother? " She said while hiding her face.

King laughed a little , " sure thing , as long as I can call you little sis " he said with a smile.

She nodded and they both went inside the still empty school.

After a while the whole school had arrived.

The whole school once again had there eyes on King , even the teachers were staring at him.

He got into class and saw his friends and everyone else , they were gathered at table next to King and Katsuki.

When they noticed him , they all stopped , King sighed " what did I do now ? " He asked.
