The remaining days of the internship went by pretty quickly. King was finally allowed to see his dad.
David's injuries weren't permanent , and the only real damage done to him was on his arms , other than that he was ok.
David and King would be going back home together , so David was discharged and they went to say goodbye to the sidekicks and everyone else.
When King got there , all the sidekicks were lined up. They all began saying there goodbyes and wishing King well in his studies to become a hero.
After that he returned to his room , packed his stuff and then lay on his bed one last time.
He was relaxing and just feeling the room.
When he turned to the window he saw a familiar black cat with golden eyes. He opened the window and was pushed down to the floor by the one and only Queen.
" KING PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! " She begged.
King laughed and sat up , " first of all , where have you been I've been worrying about you for the past couple of days......and second of all why in hell would I leave you? " He asked.
She made a guilty face , which was kinda cute in Kings eyes.
" I was roaming around this city and got lost , I couldn't quite catch your scent so I made it harder for me to find you , but luckily I was able to find this building again. And while I was here I got scared that you would get angry at me and leave me here " she said.
King laughed again , " I am not angry at you Queen , I mean what kind of King would I be if I got angry and left my Queen here alone " King said.
Queen smiled a little and for the first time ever King heard her laugh.
King and her laughed a bit more then King got his luggage and Queen transformed into her cat state and they headed downstairs.
When they got downstairs they saw Jason with his own luggage , David with his own luggage , and Millie was holding a wrapped box in her hands.
When she saw King and Queen she ran and hugged him.
They stayed like that till King fake coughed.
" Oh sorry Lucas , anyway here " she said , then she gave King the box.
King took it and opened it , inside he saw a wristband with his initials on it
L.K . The letters were red while the rest of the band was pitch black.
" Before I say thank you , why are you giving me a gift? " He asked.
She twirled her finger on her hair , " because I'll miss you dummy , take it or leave it " she said.
King smiled and then put on the wristband , it went well with his black jacket and his black jeans and shoes.
" Thanks Mills , I'll miss you too " he said.
After that King , Jason and David teleported to their mansion.
Jason said goodbye and walked towards his house.
King and David walked towards the front door and knocked , but no one answered.
King knocked again , but still no answer.
David used his key and opened the door. They walked inside the mansion and looked around , everything was normal except for an uncomfortable chill.
