Chapter 30: My Demons

(" Hey.....hey LUCAS)

Lucas woke up , but it was as if his eyes were still closed.

(" Thank goodness your awake ")

" What the?! , Where am I? "

" So you really don't remember anything huh , guess Shadow wasn't lying to us then " a voice said , becoming more clearer.

In an instant, Lucas was met with another flash. But this time it lit up his surroundings.

" What the hell!?! "

He was in a different world , and it looked like hell.

" Your not too far off , this is technically our hell " a voice said.

Lucas turned and was met with three huge figures , each of them having different bizarre features.

" What the fuck are!?! " Lucas asked , his voice shaky because of his headache.

" You'll remember soon enough , all you need to know is that you had your memories erased " one of them said.

Lucas stared at them , shocked by this information. But to him it was like an answer , it explained why he couldn't remember anything from his past.

" So....do you maybe know who I really am? " Lucas asked.

A figure with a head of flames approached him , it put it's hand on his shoulder. This action actually seemed to calm him down.
" Your Lucas King , the controller of this hell and the demons that reside in it " the figure said with a grin.

That name caught up to him once again , (" am I really the boy that those students knew? ") He asked himself.

" Yes , but it's not your fault that you don't remember anything. It's those damn villains fault " the figure answered , shocking Lucas.

" How did you?!! " Lucas asked.

" We can hear your thoughts , we basically live in your mind " the figure said.

Lucas had a number of questions to ask them , but he still didn't trust them enough to believe their words.

" If I'm who you say I am , then why do those students think Lucas King is dead?! " He asked.

" Zero , it's about time we showed him " the fire figure said.

Zero walked towards Lucas and put it's hand on his head.
" This might hurt a bit..... actually it's gonna hurt a lot " Zero said before all at once Lucas was blasted with by a flash of light.

Different memories surrounded him and appeared like pictures , each of them coming back to him. Showing him who he really was , and he could feel that those were his memories because it was all adding up to the flashes that he had been seeing.

The pain was like being slowly split in half , his quirk starting to feel natural I'm his hands. Anger , sadness , regret , frustration all merging itself into him as he watched all the memories like a highlight reel.

He began remembering everyone , his parents ,his friends , his enemies and his Demon's.
As the final pieces of his memories entered his head , he could see how he lost them in the first place.
He relived the pains of that day , the day the league of villains took his memories.

The memories of his new life joined with his old one , He saw himself training with the league , defeating the pro heroes and his love life with Toga Himiko.

Tears streamed down his face , he couldn't control it. He had betrayed everything he lived for , he betrayed himself.
After a few more seconds , he knelt to the dark cold ground below him.
And Zero released him.
