Lucas King , the demonic freak of UA , The Overpowered Blacklight , and the blackhearted boxer , was called by Aizawa to principal Nezus office.
Alongside Jason Badguy , Christina Lionheart and Giovanna Westwood , the group stood Infront of the short principal.
Principal Nezu had his hands clasped together and brows furrowed , showing that he wasn't particularly pleased about something.
The four students exchanged looks with each other.
" I'm sure you're all Wondering what we've called you here for " principal Nezu said looking up at them.
The four nodded.
Aside from the principal , pro hero's Eraserhead , All Might , And Edgeshot had gathered around as well.
" You're all aware of All Might's retirement from Hero work , it's served as both a warning to the villains and a chance for stronger villains to rise " Nezu started.
Aizawa stepped forward , and he tapped his wrist as a hologram appeared in the middle of the room.
" Among the villains , there is a group known as the Apex Legion."
He explained as the image of the logo of the group on a flag which was planted on top of the remains of the former Apex Research Facility.
" Their numbers have grown exponentially since All Might's last battle. And they've somehow proven to be more of a problem to us heroes than the league of villains " endeavor grunted.
Upon hearing the name , both Christina and Lucas clenched their fists. Silently praying for something.
Jason clicked his tounge , summoning attention to himself.
" So , why exactly are you telling us this?" He asked.
" We were getting to that " Nezu said.
" You see , Japan is already shaken enough with the league around and letting them know about a threat greater than them would start panic " he explained.
Aizawa snapped his fingers , getting the students to turn to him.
" And where currently having hero's search for the LOV , so we're low on manpower " he said.
" And that's where you four come in "
The students eye's widened , except for Jason. Who was holding a more docile expression.
" You want us , to fight this new group? " Christina asked.
" Not just you , you'll be fighting alongside some of the most talented heroes of this generation. All of which have become pro's and are amazing at what they do " Edgeshot said.
" Wait wait wait! " Jason said
" You do know that we've not even gotten our provisional license's yet right? "
" And compared to these experts you say we're going with , aren't we just lightweight to them? " Christina added.
All Might coughed a bit before speaking.
" No , infact I singlehandedly picked you four based on your previous accomplishments. And as for you're license's , complete this mission and you've passed. Think of it as this is your test " he explained.
Giovanna raised her hand to speak.
" As much as I'd love to go off and risk my life like a true Hero , I want to ask....... Do you think we're ready for such a task? " She asked.
The silence that ensued was more than answer for them.
But Lucas still had something to ask before he got up.
" Hey principal "
" Yes Lucas? "
" What exactly are these new villains doing? "
Nezu nodded to Aizawa, who changed the hologram to show a list of crimes that they had committed , all ranging from Arson down to Robbery
Lucas's eyes locked onto one specifically , the murders , and the list of the names of the deceased.
His arm glowed for a second as he shot up from his seat , surprising everyone.
" I'm in " he stated , shocking the three behind him.
" Are you sure, King? " Christina asked.
The blonde nodded and clenched his glowing arm.
" I don't give a shit about who and how strong they are , but killing that many innocent people.....is unforgivable " he said.
On the list , a total count of 3,225 deceased showed according to their dates of death.
All Might couldn't help but be proud of Lucas.
Aizawa put a hand on the blondes shoulder.
" You've barely recovered from you're previous battle , how sure are you that you'll survive this fight? " He asked Hoping to make Lucas less reckless.
" I'm not " King answered.
" But right now , people are crying over the deaths of their loved ones while the villains continue kill innocence in the hero's absence " he stated.
Jason and Giovanna nodded.
" The innocent deserve justice , and I'll be the one to deliver it. Since you've already chosen me , I'm sure you knew that I would join and rain hell on those damned souls " King finished , turning to the three.
" I'm gonna risk my life again , but this time I don't wanna do it alone "
" You won't have to " Christina said standing up.
" I'm with you Lucas , and I'll fight by your side to protect you "
Jason got up and shrugged.
" You're gonna need extreme firepower for this , so I'll be the tank plowing through the villains ranks " he said with a smirk.
Gio remained sitting ,
" I'm following , but only cause Jason begged me to " she lied with half grin.
" The fuck?! I didn't- "
" Since you're all onboard , I'm gonna be giving you these " Aizawa said holding four cards.
The hero threw the cards to them , the latter of which caught the cards and examined them.
Lucas smirked as he saw his picture and detail's on the card , above it were the words ' Ghost Operation Member '.
" These kids got spunk " endeavor said.
" Yeah , but they sure have a reputation for being recklessly strong at being reckless and strong " Nezu said.
" Yeah........wait what? "
" From now on , you four are ghost until the end of this mission. Succeed and you get you're license's , fail and Japan will fall into chaos " Nezu said , ignoring endeavors question.
Just then , a group of girls and guys appeared outside the glass wall behind Nezu.
" Welcome to the Ghost Operation Squad " Nezu said with smirk.
