Izuku ran out, managing to grab Shoto’s sleeve. But his hand was quickly slapped away by Endeavor, the left out flames burning his hand. Izuku paid it no mind, he was used to this white pain.

“Wait!” Izuku shouted out, in a last ditch effort to grab Shoto’s attention. “Uh, can I talk to him alone?” Izuku pointed to Shoto, swallowing his pride, Izuku led Shoto away.

“What did you need.” Shoto asked, genuinely curious. Izuku took a deep gulp of breath.

“Right, so we’re starting this project to make people see others with a weaker quirk or no quirk in a better light.” Izuku muttered out, Shoto barely followed. As soon as Shoto processed that, he nodded, signaling Izuku to continue. “And I’d like you to join.”

“I thought you said-” Shoto began a question, only to be shushed by Izuku.

“I know, but we need someone with a powerful quirk. And if you were with the 2nd pro hero you have to have a powerful quirk.” Izuku rambled. “And even if you didn’t you could be our first member! Er- second I guess, after me.” Shoto just stood there.

“Sure.” Shoto agreed, just wanting to be away from his ‘father’. Izuku beamed, in fact Shoto couldn’t look at him much longer without going blind. So he turned his head, still squinting. Izuku held his hand out, in it was a paper. Shoto took it, assuming this person was a fan and that he’d been tricked. But it was a contract.

“Here! Your contract, you can read it over.” Izuku felt his pockets, then turned to his backpack. Then he fished out his notebook and a pen, ripping a page off. He scribbled down his phone number, along with Naomasa’s and gave it to Shoto. “If you need to contact us!”

Shoto gave the contract a quick glance over. Nothing out of the ordinary. “Hey.” Shoto looked up at Izuku. And Izuku froze in place, what if he’d made a mistake printing it out. Had his impulsiveness made this person wanna disagree? “Questions, what’s your name?” Shoto actually sounded like he asked a question.

“R-right, I didn’t tell you!” Izuku stumbled over his words. “My name is Izuku Midoriya!” He reached his hand out again, this time for a hand shake. “Yours is?”

“Shoto Todoroki.” Shoto took his hand, shaking it slightly. He was still stunned that Izuku hadn’t recognized him. But as he tried to retract his hand Izuku didn’t. Confused, Shoto looked up. Izuku froze, all the color leaked out of him.

“TODOROKI? AS IN ENDEAVOUR’S SON?!” Izuku shouted out. He repeatedly shook Shoto’s hand. “I AM SO SORRY FOR INSULTING YOUR FATHER!” Once Izuku let go he started bowing repeatedly.

“It’s.. fine.” Shoto looked to the side, and saw Endeavor glaring at him. “Hey, can I hang out here?” Shoto mumbled out, embarrassed. Izuku tilted his head, looking like a confused puppy. Eventually Izuku looked back to Endeavor then to Shoto.

“Of course! I’ll tell Endeavor, you go to Naomasa!” Izuku dragged Shoto to the front doors of the police station. And shoved him into the door.

--------

“What are you doing with my son.” Endeavor quickly approached Izuku. Izuku sighed in relief, he got Shoto away. Now no one had to see him like this.

“He’s hanging out with me.” Izuku half smile-half smirked looked wrong on his petite face. He was smug with confidence. “But you’d kinda… cramp our style.” Izuku put on a persona of those typical mean girls. A skill he’d learned to master, to match how everyone perceives him.

“He’s my son, and I say he needs to train.” Endeavor snarled out. Izuku couldn't help but think of a kid. Those types of kids who boss everyone around because they think they’re superior. Just, a very big kid.

“Wow, great argument. I should just hand him over to you because you’re the parent!” Izuku squealed out, trying his best to keep from laughing. "Well, princess, do you know how many abuse cases are reported per year? No? Well in the 2020s more than 3 million and unfortunately, that number has only increased.” Izuku closed his eyes, his tone was patronizing, it only made Endeavor angrier. “So, after hearing that, do you still think I should give every parent who asks their child back? Especially if said parent was yelling at their child whilst holding up a very injured person?” Izuku paused. “And when the child has a scar over the left side of their head?”

Endeavor was taken aback, this kid was talking back to him, the second most powerful hero in Japan. Endeavor reached out to grab the kid’s head to push him aside. “Oh! And, when you did this to me so easily.” Izuku held up his hand, it was charred. A ugly mix of red and purple swirled into a handprint, with black edges. “I didn’t do anything to deserve this did I? Wouldn’t this be considered illegal?” Izuku glanced at his hand. It wasn’t all from Endeavor, part of it was from Katsuki. But Endeavor didn’t need to know that.

“Are you… threatening me?” Endeavour glared at Izuku. Izuku smiled playfully, then turned on his heel into the police station.

“Of course not! But, it’d be a different story if you lay a hand on any of your children.” Izuku stopped in the doorway, gaining the attention of some of the police officers. “Oh, and Todoroki’s staying here.” Izuku craned his neck to face Endeavour’s eyes. Then he left toward Shoto.

--------

“Hey Todoroki! Naomasa!” Izuku jogged over to them, a smile permanently engraved on his face.

“Hey Izuku.” Naomasa greeted, not once putting down his coffee cup. Once he took a gulp he put it down, freshly empty.

“Refill?” Shoto asked, his hands occupying another empty coffee cup. Naomasa nodded, and Shoto took both cups to refill them.Naomasa thanked him, and sighed.

“I need to go to a crime scene, keep Todoroki busy will ya’?” Naomasa asked, rubbing his temple in a failed attempt to sooth his growing headache.

“Of course! You can count on me!” Izuku answered, his attitude a little too positive to be real. Of course Naomasa picked up on it, but he decided not to mention it, instead opting for a reassuring hand on Izuku’s shoulder.

--------

“Sooooo what’re we doing now?” Izuku asked, bored out of his mind. Shoto shrugged, and they sat in silence for a while. Before Izuku thought of a great idea. “You wanna go to the park?” Izuku asked, the thought clearly excited him. Shoto nodded, not having a better idea.

Right so- this is actually not a Tododeku, there won't be any ships because I feel that takes away from the plot. And because I may or may not suck at writing romance-

Anyway! It's the weekend again for me, so I have more time to write! I hope your weekend's good!
