George and I were walking the streets of New York City. The lights were glimmering and there were loud pops of fireworks every few minutes. The kids are at home with John. He thought that we should get out the house and have a little time to ourselves since we haven't had much time lately. George finally finished moving his things in and now it looks homey. It's peaceful. Like a fresh breath of air. We were on our way to a restaurant. Even though I wasn't really hungry George insisted.

"Come on babe, you'll enjoy it I promise."

"Okay fine.."

He kissed my lips and we continued walking. I didn't choose the right shoes for this adventure. I was wearing a light blue and black flannel with a tank top underneath and grey cargo pants along with my grey vans. Now any other time I can run and walk in these shoes but I was pregnant. I was even showing the tiniest bit. It hasn't even been the long. We did color coordinate well though. George had on black jeans that were slightly baggy with his high top black Nikes and a blue shirt.

"Are you cold babe?"

"Just a little. I didn't know we'd be walking to the restaurant." I grumbled

"I'm sorry babe."

"Yeah I'm kinda pregnant and walking really isn't my best suit when I'm in the situation." I grumbled again

"Want to get on my back."

"You have like an old dad back George. We need you to keep your hips intact." I giggled

"First of all I'm only 28. Don't insult Pip. Obviously my back isn't old, but yours is. I've blown it out a couple times:" he smirked

"George!" I blushed.

"Whaa?" He laughed

"My back is fine."

"I mean now it is."

We both started laughing. We passed the time with this past years memories. Soon we reached the restaurant.

"Hello, reservations for Eacker."

"Yes right this way Mr. and Mrs.Eacker."

"I'm a man." I glared

"My apologies."

We walked to the table and sat down.

"Nice restaurant, it's fancy."

"Thanks..now how are you."

"Really??"

"Yes." He deadpanned

"I'm okay. Tired."

"Okay well can we go down memory lane real quick."

"Uh sureee?" I said concerned

"Remember when we first met."

"Oh when you shoved me into my locker because I was the weird antisocial kid with anxiety." I said

"I- well I did that cause I liked you and didn't understand my feelings."

"I know..it's okay." I held his hand.

"Okay first date." He smiled

"We went to sit in park. We painted and ate this nasty ass chicken from the restaurant we ordered from." I gaged

"It was nasty..no it was atrocious." He agreed

"First time I said I loved you."

Before I could answer a waiter came by with our drinks.

"I'd like to order the steak. Can it be medium rare please."

"That's disgusting..can I have the chicken salad." With that he walked away.

"Now back to my question." George asked.

"The first time you said you loved me..hmmm it was when we had sex for the first time and we had that pregnancy scare."

"Yeah that was scary.."

"I have one for you." I said

"Shoot."

"First time actually seeing my body." I blushed

"I know this one. Andrès was just born. You couldn't walk that good to the shower so I helped you. That's when I actually seen your body in actual lighting. That's when I knew. I loved you. Every part of you."

"Babe..." I teared up

"Okay one more.."

"Go ahead."

"When you asked me to marry you." He said looking deeply into my eyes.

"We we're at a good restaurant and we were talking about our relationship together. We laughed a lot soon I was like "I love you so much and I wanna grow old with you" and then I popped the question."

"Well Phillip."

He got down on one knee and I gasped..and everybody turned their attention to us.

"I love you so much. I wanna grow old with you. I wanna be the one you can depend on. Your the love of my life. You make me heart flutter all the time. Phillip you are my person."

"George.." I cried. "You tricked me.." I pouted

"Phillip, Will you marry me." He held out a ring band. A really nice one.

I stood up out my chair and looked at him.

"Yes George. I will marry you." He picked me up and spinned me around in the air.

"I love you so much." He put me down and pulled me in for a passionate kiss.

I went to the bathroom to clean my face up and I looked up.

"Hey pops." I sniffled

"Congrats." His ghost said in a faint whisper

"Thanks dad."

"You really did make me proud. I'm so proud of you. I love you."

"I love you too."

He disappeared again. I walked back out and sat at the table. Our food had just arrived and the countdown was starting.

"Oh babe the countdown." And in unison we counted.

"10."

"9."

"8."

"7."

"6."

"5."

"4."

"3."

"2."

"1."

"HAPPY NEW YEARS." The restaurant shouted together.

"I really love you." George said

"I love you too. Mi amour."

And we started eating our food.
