When we arrived here in the Island, we made sure that there were no prints to be left. We triple our safety.
"Call all of them, papuntahin mo na sila dito sa conference room" I commanded one of the Head
I sipped on my coffee. In a couple of minutes, pumasok ang mga tao namin, lahat sila. At saka lumapit sa akin si Eli, Sam at Yve.
"Shall we?" I asked then they all nodded. We all sat on the chair and the rest, they remained standing.
Sinenyasan ko naman si Eli na magstart, tumango siya at pumunta sa harap. Before she speaks, she turned low the light.
"We're going to talk about the Whole Island and its matter" She started "Yesterday we received a threat" she glance at us, sam, yve and me then she continue "I guess it is! One of these days, the Island might be in trouble. We need to triple the safety of the Island's Identification. The informations about our consortium, associations, sodality of the Isla Paraiso will be guarded as well as cloistered."
Gumapang naman ang tingin ko sa paligid. I stare each of their faces, familiarizing. I cannot trust anyone, some of them maybe a traitor someday.
"So, be careful and always be alert in your surroundings. Always check and report the Island's Condition. Be Attentive and Play Safe, you know what I meant" makahulugang pagtatapos ni Elisse
Nagkaroon pa ng katanungan at mga suhestyon ang diskusyon hanggang sa matapos ng matiwasay. Bumalik na sila sa kani-kanilang mga gawain.
Tumingin naman ako sa cellphone ko upang tingnan ang oras. Ala siete na. Meron ring notifications ng messages ni Radly. I just swiped it.
"Aren't we gonna work?" dinig kong tanong ni Yve
"Are you expecting someone?" nagsususpetyang tanong ni Sam
Pinandilatan naman siya nito "Ha? No! Of course not!"
"Sounds defensive huh?" saad naman ni Sam na sinamaan naman siya ng tingin ni Yve
Hindi na ako nakisali sa kanila, sa halip ay nahiga ako sa couch. I'm exhausted, I want to rest my mind.
Tumunog naman ang intercom kaya priness ni Eli iyon.
"Good Evening Eva's, These persons have some matter with you."
Nakatinginan naman kaming apat. Kunot noo naman ako "Who are they and what's with their matter?" tanong ni Eli
"Uh do you want to talk to them Madam?" sagot ng kabilang linya, tumingin naman saakin si Eli
"Yes please"
Ilang segundo lang "Good Evening Ladies, It's us" tinig lalaking pamilyar
"Who?"
"Dan, Ian, Trev, Rad" isa isa nilang wika sa kabilang linya
"Oh so what's the matter?"
"Have you girls eaten? Well, we're inviting you ladies to come over with us. Uh Dinner?"
"Dinner Date?" Napabaling naman ako kay Eli sa sinabi nito gayon din ang dalawa
Ngumiti siya ng alinlangan saka tumawa "Haha joke, Well, The Three is listening but they didn't respond yet if we're going"
"Oh darlings, we're honoured if you accept our invitation" I heard Trev said
Napataas naman ang kilay ko ng nakatingin pala silang tatlo sa akin.
"What?"
"Ano? payag ba tayo?"
Napaisip naman ako pero sige mga talandi!
