Jen felt giddy and happy about today's episode. Because, after one and a half years of back and forth, it would mark the first episode of Ross and Rachel as a couple.

It had been a strange dynamic between David and her, and as much as the realization hurt, they both knew by now that taking what they had out of the set and into their private lives was not the smartest idea right now.

This had not totally been their own decision, as she knew by now that there had been a talk between David and Jimmy Burrows who had advised, ordered ... whatever you wanted to call it... to stop what had not even started.

She could remember the day she had talked to David about their first kiss being something to happen infront of the camera and how much she would dislike that. It hurt her in her heart that he did not get up right then and there, grab her and kiss her like she had hoped. On the other hand, she had been afraid to simply just do it herself.

When she found out about the talk after the kiss actually HAD happened infront of the camera, she knew that he had just been wanting to take the high road.

But, for whatever it was worth, this whole kiss scene had made them realize that it was easier than they thought, at least she felt that way, to blend out the audience and pretend that certain moments belonged to them, and to them only.

So in this episode, there would be multiple scenes in which she would just put up her blinders and enjoy being so close to the man she loved, even though this was not supposed to happen.

And yes, even with having a boyfriend, there was, by now, no point in not admitting it to herself that she not only loved David as a dear friend and brother, but that instead, she was in love with him.

And how could she not? He was everything you could possibly want in a man and then some more. She could not remember feeling this pull towards another person. It was unfair to her boyfriend, it was sure not the smartest from a professional point of view, but was there anything you could do against a chemical reaction?!?

They met up outside the camera view in the hallway set, exchanging excited glances, waiting for the camera to start rolling. They wrapped their bodies around each other, walking over to the door of the girl's apartment. When they entered the apartment , they discussed the movie with subtitles Ross and Rachel supposedly watched, joking about Rachel not wanting to wear glasses on the first date, before falling into a tender kiss.

She knew it was sneaky, and it was unprofessional, but as soon as she felt his lips part slightly when he moved them against hers, she somehow felt her tounge dart out beginning to caress his lips.

Much to her surprise, she did not feel him freeze or trying to keep it cool. Instead she felt he was enjoying it just as much as she did.

Still, she rembered her line and began calling for Monica, him faking to be hurt by her calling for his sister in that moment.

They both began to search the apartment for her absent roommate that of course was nowhere to be found. When they walked towards each other between the doors of the bathroom and Monica's bedroom, both of their excitement was only partly faked, clearly both hungry for more.

They met in the middle, embracing each other, lips meeting, and an little twist of their bodies they now were hiding the very real dance their tongues were doing, after the brief contact just moments before.

Her knees got weak, and on her back, his hands burned through the thin fabric of her top. While his tongue was wrestling with hers, he moved his hands down to her butt to press their lower bodies together. As his kiss got even more demanding, all she wanted to so was pull him over to the bedroom set - rip off his clothes and have her way with him. Who cared about the cameras?!?!
