(Rorke POV)
I had been sitting here for so long waiting on y/n. I knew she would be the one showing up thanks to hacking into Keegan's radio. So when I finally heard the chopper I got a little excited and worried (I know that isn't what you expected). Once the chopper took off I stepped out from behind the wall I had been hiding behind. It had taken them idiots forever to leave. By the time I had stepped out y/n was standing there. I knew the fact that I am alone would throw her off which was what I wanted because it would make it easier to get her to do what I wanted. I saw she clearly didn't realize who I was at first so I walked closer. I knew there was a few ways things could turn out but I didn't care I had one thing on my mind. I needed y/n to follow me so I could give her all the information I knew her fellow soldiers had left out. To ensure she would I decide to make a deal with her, even though I saw her weigh her options then walk closer to me. I would go with her after she heard what I had to tell her. Yeah I know there was a huge chance she wouldn't believe me but I had to try. So when she agreed we immediately set out so I didn't waste her time. Any way on our way to my bunker I was talking to y/n and surprisingly she actually answered me.
When we reached the bunker it was late so I started cooking and got straight to the point of why I brought her here.
Me: So now that we are here I wanted to let you in on a few little secrets the ghosts have most likely been hiding from you. Along with your "father".
Y/n: Oh really and what would those be Rorke.
Me: Well for started they keep the fact that I was actually their leader before Elias dropped me. But even if they did tell you that I know they failed to mention the fact that keegan lures women into a false sense of security so he can do unspeakable things.
Y/n: hmm lets say I decided to believe you how do you know this?
Me:Well little girl I know because I beat his ass for trying to do it to the only other female that had ever joined the ghosts. Though you likely never heard about her because they killed her and disposed of any evidence she was ever alive.
Y/n: how, why, when, sorry so many thoughts and questions. Oh thank you for the food by the way.
Me: no problem i am not the monster they depict me to be, i simply want those ass holes to pay for what they did to so many people including me. So now what are you gonna do?
(Y/N pov)
After hearing what Rorke had to say I found myself questioning the ghosts and what they were really doing. I had to figure it out so I planned on going through Elias's desk and computer to see if I could find any evidence they may have forgotten to get rid of. Though I wanted to make it seem like he put up a fight before we went back so I came up with a plan. As soon as I had it all figured out I asked Rorke to hear me out because I had a few questions to ask. He nodded in response and the following conversation insued.
Me: first and foremost I gotta know why have you been haunting my family for so long. I remember seeing you a few times on my home from school when I was real little, then again when I started running away from home and the last time I had seen you was when I was in 7th grade and you beat the hell out of my first boy friend and yelled at me to break up with him.
Rorke: so your dead beat dad never told you anything as to what happened to your mom, why he hates you and who i am huh. Well then lets start from the beginning shall we. It started when you were born I was there see I was a friend of your mothers and since ur dad refused to be there for her I went. As soon as you finally came out the doctors asked me to hold you so they could help your mom and when I did I felt an immediate spark. your mother noticed and knew that we would eventually be one. She told your dad when he finally decided he wanted to visit you and Maria (your mother incase he didnt tell you her name). From that moment he banned me from seeing you and her. Well your mom didn't take to kindly to that and so she would sneak out with you to see me. Well eventually your dad found out and drug her back to what you knew as home and killed her. I tried to step in but he had a restraining order against me so I couldn't get anywhere near him or your home. Now you know why I did what I did. If you dont believe me take off your glove and grab my hand. Also since that day he blamed you for everything.
Me: oh god that is a lot to take in. None of that was ever told to me. All he ever did was abuse me and for what something he did and I had zero control over!!!!! If I ever see that piece of shit again I will kill him. *sigh* anyway give me your hand I wanna see if your telling the truth about the me and you part.
*immediately feels a spark when Rorke and her hand touches*
Me:so your fully telling the truth good. That will makes this easier I have a plan we will head back to my base in 2 days but we have to make it look like you put up a fight understand.
Rorke: whatever you want. I will gladly do because I care about you.
Anyway back to the main story. Me and him sat there and got to know each other better and I gotta say he isnt the monster everyone depicted him to be. I now understand things better and honestly gotta say what Elias did was fucked up. He could have saved Rorke and kept everyone safe at the same time. On the second day I called in for an evac so we could get back to the base. Rorke allowed me to hit him with my gun to give him a black eye so the plan would work. Well it didnt take long for the evac to get there but what I didnt expect was Merrick to be on it. That complicated things a bit.
(Keegans pov)
It had been a few days since y/n had gone on this mission. I was kinda getting worried so to distract myself I went to talk to Elias. Well lucky for me about five or so minutes after I walked into the intel room Elias received an evac call from her. Elias looked at me and said no I need you here. I walked with Merrick to the chopper and told him to make sure to keep Y/n safe ni matter what. With that being said they headed off to go retrieve my beautiful girl and I headed back to Elias. As soon as I got back into his office I asked why he kept me here. He told me he had a bad feeling and that we should keep a close eye on y/n and Rorke for a few days. Immediately I yelled at him for saying that we needed to watch y/n because saying that is insinuating that she would betray us in anyway.
(Merrick pov)
After Keegan practically yelled at me to keep his girl safe I headed to go pick her up. Something just didn't sit right with me though. How did y/n get Rorke so quickly. I am happy she did but at the same time we have spent months trying to find him and came up empty handed yet y/n goes out for two days and has him caught. It just seems to easy, now don't get me wrong I am in no way insinuating that y/n has been working with Rorke. I just believe Rorke let himself be captured but for what reason I thought to myself. Suddenly I was pulled from those thoughts by the pilot welcoming her on to the chopper. I congratulated y/n on catching Rorke but couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.
