RING RING RING.
"Huh.."
Lucia's phone was ringing.
9:24 AM
"Hello?" Lucia said, in a tired voice.
"Hey girl! I hope you're doing okay now."
"Oh, hey Olivia. I'm fine."
"That's great. I wanted to ask you if we can come over for a bit. You know, me and Cynthia. I think we have some things to discuss."
"Huh, uhm sure I guess."
"Okay, see ya!"
BEEP.
She hang up.
Things to discuss? What does she mean by that?

It was a rainy morning. Although it was summer, the weather was getting worse from day to day. Lucia put on a hoodie and walked downstairs to the kitchen. She couldn't stop thinking of yesterday.

"I can't stop thinking about you."
"I love you, Lucia."

Ahh.

She smiled while drinking hot chocolate.
Also, her mum had become the permission to leave the hospital tomorrow.
Lucia cleaned up the whole house. She wanted to help her mum by that. All the time she was so mean and now she couldn't even think of talking back to her mother. She missed her so much...

DING DING.
3:34 PM
The bell rang. Lucia opened the door.
Olivia and Cynthia were waiting outside with an umbrella. "Hey girls. Come in."
"Ahh thank you. It's pretty cold outside."
Lucia brought them hot chocolate, while they were sitting in the couch in the living room.
"No problem."
She also took a seat next to them.
"So, you guys wanted to talk, right?"
They both looked at each other.
"Yea sure, but not now. We still have time, don't we?"
Lucia frowned.
"If you say so..."

Time passed while they were sitting, eating snacks and talking about things in life.
Lucia actually missed that. Those pyjama parties with her best friends. Talking, watching movies, crying and laughing together.
Things change...

It started raining even more and the sky was getting darker. Looked like a winter night.
It was 7 PM.
While they were chatting, Lucia got a text message.

Henry: Hey Lucia, meet me outside.

Lucia was confused. Right now?
She looked out of the window. It rained heavily.
Then she took a look at her friends.
"Uh guys, Im going to get some fresh air, I'll be right back..."
Cynthia and Olivia looked at each other.
"Where are yo-.."
Lucia didn't listen to them while waking out of the living room and outside her front door.
She couldn't really see a lot through the fog.
When she walked outside, she got all wet.
Damn, I forgot my umbrella.
She kept walking, until she saw someone under a street lamp.

Henry.

He was standing all wet in the rain.
When Lucia got closer, she saw him holding flowers in the one hand, which were completely wet and something smaller in the other. She couldn't tell what it was.
"Henry?"
His hair was all wet, covering his forehead.
The distance between them was about 3 metres.
"What are you doing here?"
Henry looked at the things in his hand.
"I wanted to give you something, Lucia."

Suddenly

"HAHAHAHAHHAHAH"

Huh...?

Lucia immediately turned around, only to see them.

Olivia and Cynthia were standing there, pointing at Henry while laughing.
Cynthia was grinning.

"AMAZING! Amazing Job Lucia!! YOU DID IT!"
Olivia came running to her.
"Look at this loser."
Cynthia put a hand on Lucia's shoulder.
"She PLAYED with you! Couldn't you see?
All the time..."

Lucia eyes went blank.

No... No No... This can't... be happening...

She looked back at Henry.

And there he was.
Standing in the rain.
All wet.
His arms were now hanging down.

And that was the moment, when she saw the thing in his right hand.

...Her necklace...

But...How? How did he...? That necklace is so expensive...

Lucia looked up to him. His eyes looked

dead.

He was looking at her. She couldn't tell what he was thinking. His mouth was opened a little.
His eyes were dark.
She noticed a tear. A tear rolling down his cheek.

"No.. No NO NO PLEASE."
Lucia couldn't keep it anymore. She fell to the ground.

"Henry...please..."

Henry didn't move.
He dropped the necklace, on the ground.
That was the last thing he did, before he turned around and left...

Forever.

What have I done...

Lucia eyes were widened.
Tears were running down her face, she couldn't even see properly.

With the last breath she could take, while he was in her view range, she yelled:

"HENRY COME BACK. LET'S RESTART THIS.
PLEASE"
