At 11 pm.

"Aww man, I'm exhausted," Ino groaned, tossing her body on the fluffy bed.

"Can't debate with that," Sakura admitted as she lied beside her best friend.

"Ah, my whole body is paining from all the travel," Ino grunted while cracking knucklebones and letting out a big yawn.

"Thank god Tsunade-sama gave us a day off. Let's just sleep," Sakura suggested.

"Hai hai,"

And both the girls went to the deep slumber in no time. Ino insisted Sakura come over to her place rather than going along at home this late in the night, so she instead told her to stay for tonight and then go back to her place tomorrow.

A few days passed, and Sasuke and Sakura didn't have any significant interaction, rather no interaction. Due to the recent encounter, Sakura was still feeling too embarrassed to approach, so she has been avoiding him since the time they returned. Sasuke didn't mind it at all. For him, the calmer, the merrier.

At last, Naruto pointed it out and invited the pinkette for lunch, but then too she declined it, and to shut Naruto's mouth, she later treated him at the Ichiraku, and that's how the days were going on, life was going on!

Until one day,

"Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Kakashi sensei is calling you," Shino announced while entering the class.

Three of them went to see if what's the matter,

"Kakashi-sensei, did you call us, heh?" Sakura called, but no one was in the room.

"Oh Sakura, Kakashi San will be here soon, but you might have to wait a bit," Izumi said, as she heard three of them entering.

"Oh, okay," Sakura said.

"I'm in the next room, so don't make noise," Izumi instructed as the two of them simply nodded.

After a brief moment of silence, Naruto turned towards Sakura, saying,

"Ne Sakura-chan, I've been meaning to ask you this for a very long time... Eto..." Naruto stammered, gathering up the words and courage as well.

'Is this what I think it is?' Sakura's inner popped out.

'NO NO NO NO, this can't be it.' She knows what's it means by it.

"I need advice," Naruto said, making the pinkette snap out of her thoughts.

"Uh, advice? From me?" That caught the pinkette off guard. Naruto gave a perky nod.

"Well, what?"

"Umm, actually, I wanted to ask Hinata to, you know, go somewhere with me,"

Sakura let the word sink in her mind, for the first 0.5 seconds she didn't realize what he said, but when she did, her eyes widened so much that eyeball could pop out in the next moment. Even Sasuke blinked vigorously to recheck his friend's statement. He didn't see it coming either.

"WHAT?" Sakura almost shouted,

"I said don't make noise," Izumi shouted from the other side.

"Sorry sensei," Sakura replied, while Naruto was gesticulating her to shush down.
