Here Sakura was lying on the bed, reading her favorite borrowed-from-Ino, Shoujo Manga.

Her link broke when she heard a ding on her phone, she reached for it and opened the chat that came from Sasuke, which said,

"Want to meet Yuki Kun?"

"Eh, what do you mean?" Sakura typed.

By now she sat up suddenly and waited for his reply.

"Come to Ichiraku, in 15 minutes."

That was the reply!

"WHAT? What does he want to do?" Sakura scowled at herself in the confusion.

"First of all, is he inviting you or ordering you as if he kidnapped Yuki and you are gonna give him the ransom"

"IKR, wait! What if he really- No, why would Sasuke do that" Sakura realized it for herself.

"That we won't know until we go, Now get up Sakura-chan, our Sasuke Kun is waiting." her inner self's eyes glinted. Because one part of her was delighted by the invitation from Sasuke.

"So what were you talking about Yuki Kun?" Sakura broke the ice after waiting for a few minutes.

"Yes, I need to visit Otogakure for some reason, so I thought I would ask if you'd like to come along" a straightforward question.

But upon the unexpected, extraordinary, and surprising offer, Sakura's eyes widened.

"Actually, I need you to come along with me," Sasuke added.

That unexpected offer was already surprising and now addition to that, Sasuke was himself requesting her to come along. It was almost like a dream, Sakura started imagining things until,

'Don't get flustered Baka, first, ask what's the reason.' her more mature self commanded.

'Right,' Sakura snapped,

"Umm, may I ask why you need me to come along?" Sakura asked putting extra force on 'me'

Without left any choice Sasuke simply explained her Orochimaru-Akatsuki equation. As Sakura had already encountered Akatsuki she didn't need any more explanation to convince.

"Sure, I'd like to help you anytime!" Sakura cheered.

"Ah, Thanks" and there goes again, Sasuke letting a genuine, wholesome smile of his. A little relief was added to his account.

"Okay, I'll book the tickets and will let you know the day, time, and other details," Sasuke said standing up from his table, as he put his share of money inside the bill and left without uttering a word.

Sakura was simply stunned, time was more likely paused for her. When the waiter called out, She quickly paid her share of the bill and dashed off toward her blonde friend's house.
