" APA! APA! I perfected the piano lessons you taught me!" I ran towards my dad full of happiness
Like he always do, he smiled at me brightly. I can see how proud he was at me.
My dad taught me to play instruments and is the reason of my love for music.
He was sitting with mom in the couch and I took a seat between them. Snuggling close.
"Uri Jae An-ah is very good" dad said and kissed my forehead
"Of course, she got that from me" mom said proudly and laughed
"Maldo andwae, she got that from me. Machi Jae An?" Dad argued
"Ne majayo" I said
"Omo!" Mom said acting as if she can't accept what I said and tickled me
I couldn't stop laughing when dad tickled me as well.
They both stopped and hugged me "saranghae nae ttal. Eomma do, Appa do" my mom said full of love
I didn't noticed I was already crying when a hot liquid reached my ear.
Laying on my bed I stared at my ceiling bringing back old memories. In tears again.
I hate him. I despise him. He was the reason why I loved music and is also the reason why I loathe it now.
He chose music over us his family. Like we were nothing to him. How could I just show up and smile at him? Like nothing happened, that everything is fine.

I rose and wiped my tears.
My phone beeped and lighted receiving a text message. I opened it and it was uncle Sejin.

I stared at the message for awhile and looked at the present I bought last week.
So, this must be what they were saying. No matter how much you despise a person when they hold a specific title in your life you can't seem to run away at your responsibility on them. Even if the world is put upside down he's still my father.
Should I give it to him personally this time?
I heaved a breath and got out off my bed.
It's already eight in the evening. Sejin samchon texted me again on the address.
