The dorm room echoes with the snores of the girls. I roll over on my side. Hmm, Harry is probably meeting with Sirius soon. I lie still, thinking. What could Sirius want to talk to Harry about? I sit up in bed, slowing getting out. I listen to make sure the girls are still asleep. Slowly and quietly, I head out of my dorm room. I hear distant whispers. He's already here. I tiptoe down the stairs and enter into the common room. "Arh!" Harry quickly turns around. "Oh, Ellie, you scared me," he says, sighing in relief. He sits before the fire. "Ellie?" A familiar voice asks. I walk over to Harry. In the fire is a familiar face. "Mr. Black er-- um, Sirius," I say, greeting him. He looks better than before. I kneel down besides Harry. Sirius smirks. "I now understand how you knew everything, Miss Grindelwald," he says.

I smile sheepishly. "If I'm being honest, if it wasn't for Remus, I probably would have told Harry to stay away from you.. But you're not at all what they make you seem, are you?" I shake my head. "I just want to show them that I'm more than just a name," I say. He nods slowly. I sense Harry's uneasiness. "You were going to warn Harry about a few things before I interrupted," I say, reading Harry's mind. Sirius' eyes widen. "Impressive." He turns to Harry. "Karkaroff, he was a Death Eater.. You know what Death Eaters are, right?" Harry nods. "Yeah, but what-" "He was caught and thrown into Azkaban with me, but he got released.. I bet you that's why Dumbledore wanted an Auror at Hogwarts this year. You know, Moody was the one who caught Karkaroff and put him in prison. It only makes sense to have Moody watch him," Sirius explains.

Karkaroff is a Death Eater? Wouldn't Uncle Severus have known this?.. Wait, maybe that's why he's been acting so cold to me. There's a Death Eater here in the castle so he has to be extra careful. I tune myself back into Harry and Sirius's conversation. "Why did they release him?" Harry asks. "Karkaroff made a deal with the Ministry. He's a very popular and powerful man. He was able to convince the Ministry that he was of better use outside of prison and they believed him." Harry nods, taking in the information. "Wait, so are you saying he put my name in the Goblet of Fire?" "If he did, he's a good actor. He was furious when Harry's name was called out," I say, remembering that night. Harry nods in agreement. "Oh he's a good actor. He wouldn't be able to convince the Ministry of Magic of his 'innocence' if he wasn't... Now I've been reading the Daily Prophet-" "You and the rest of the world," Harry mutters annoyed.

Sirius ignores him as he continues. "I've been reading between the lines of that Skeeter woman's article last month.. Moody was apparently attacked before he started at Hogwarts.. Yes, yes I know it was said to be a false alarm, but I don't think that's completing true. There's a chance someone was trying to keep him from attending Hogwarts." My eyes widen as I hear Sirius talk. So could Karkaroff must be working to bring Voldemort back? The vision replays in my mind. B-but it doesn't make sense. The vision shows Voldemort standing at a graveyard.. What could Karkaroff be doing here if Voldemort only comes back at some graveyard? That graveyard though. Ugh. Why does it look so familiar? I bite the inside of my cheek as I think carefully. Of Course! Harry's dream! Oh my gosh! How did I forget that?

"Karkaroff would only go back to Voldemort if he knew Voldemort was powerful enough to protect him. But whoever put your name in the goblet, did it for a reason. I can't help but think the tournament would be a very good way to attack you and make it look like an accident." I watch Harry and Sirius. I should tell them. They should know. I focus on Harry. His thoughts run in chaos as he panics about what could possibly happen. Or maybe not now.. "Don't worry, Sirius. Harry will be safe. He's got so many people watching over him," I say, throwing my arm around Harry's shoulder. I sense Harry's anxiety decreasing as he smiles thankfully. "I'm glad you're one of them," Sirius tells me. It's hard to see through the fire, but he smiles. "Now Harry, the first taks--" Harry holds his hand up to stop Sirius as he listens. I hear it too.
