Chapter Thirty-six

Do you wait for what's gonna happen yesterday?  Do you remeber what happened tomorrow?

Everything happens simultaneously but we only perceive the present. In reality time doesn't pass, we are the ones passing through it. Our mind looks for the future living the present, to explain, describe and order our existence.

On the other hand, time is relative,  it's not the same being 2 minutes without breathing than 2 minutes with your friends. Past, present and future happen in a same plane, yesterday and tomorrow occurs at the same time, it's just that you don't remember yet what's gonna happen tomorrow.

Everything exist and happens simultaneously, that means right now you're taking your first steps, celebrating your achievements, crying your losses, learning from your  failures, being born and dying at the same time.

If technology could give us access to any of the events we wanted whenever, every moment would be eternal, each smile would last forever. Just imagine living  every moment the times you want, the people that have died could never die, the people we have lost could still be in our lifes even if are the past ones. You could know what's gonna happen tomorrow.

Even with all that I still choose  the intrigue of tomorrow and the learning from yesterday, living every day like it is the last one, enjoying every moment of my present knowing it won't happen twice. Miss, the time is necessary, the people who are no longer and who will no longer be here, living my present like it were the only thing that exists, the only thing I can control and the only thing I can be certain of ...

And you? When will you start living this way the only thing that for our conscience exists? What matter is not time, is what you do with it.

*Rae's POV*

*6:00 am*

I tried not crying but wait was killing me, every minute that passed felt like hours and every minute just added some more pain to my being.

(YES, I got philosophical just to start like that the chapter, hope you missed the story)

We haven't sleep, all night we were watching the news, trying to call him and reaching out to the airline.

J- I'm preparing some coffee and eggs

P- Yeah, sounds great

J- Want some Rae?

R- I'm fine, I'm not really hungry

P- You need to eat

R- *Sigh* Fine

J- Perfect, sit down and breakfast will be ready asap

I sat in the table and kept sending messages to him

P- I'm calling Matt to tell him you won't be at the photoshoot, is that okay?

R- *Nodds*

J- Here, eat

R- Thanks

We ate in silence, both of them didn't know what to say and I was just thinking, there wasn't much I could say. I was about to cry again...
