Chapter Twenty One

?- Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the Charles de Gaulle Airport. Please remain seated and with your seat belt fastened until the plane has completely stopped the engines and the seat belt lights turn off. Mobile phones must remain completely disconnected until the doors are opened.

You were exhausted, it was an eleven hour flight where you couldn't sleep since there was a child behind you kicking your seat and also the fact that the little screen didn't work, you were tired and it looked like the jet lag won't be your friend this time.

When you got out of the plane you waited for your luggage and after a 30 minutes delay the suitcases started to appear on the band. You ordered an Uber that took another 20 minutes to arrive.

?- Bonjour Monsieur, où je le prends?

Y/n- English?

?- Oh uhm where?

Y/n- Hotel National des Arts

?- Oui

The ride was 40 minutes long, you were worn out by now, you checked in the hotel and went to your room.

The clocked marked 6:47 am, it was Sunday that meant you couldn't sleep so your sleep schedule for the work is fine. You turned the TV on and watched the news, you were falling asleep when your phone buzzed

Y/n- *Yawn* Hello?

R- Did you land? Is everything ok? Why didn't you called me earlier?

Y/n- Sorry, there were some inconvenients and I forgot

R- What happened?!

Y/n- Nothing, calm down just some delay for our luggage

R- Oh ok

Y/n- After that, the ride to the hotel was quite long, I was falling asleep actually

R- Ohh sorry

Y/n- No no no, it's fine I need to stay awake

R- Why? What time is it?

Y/n- Its almost 7:00 am of Sunday so if I want to sleep through night to get to work tomorrow I should stay awake like a normal day

R- And what are you doing today then?

Y/n- Just staying at my room, order some food and watch TV maybe train.

R- Good, will you call me when you go to sleep?

Y/n- Probably, I'll check time but I'm pretty sure it's good

R- *Indistinguishable noises*
     Ok, *Giggle* imma go back eating... with the girls

Y/n- Oh yeah, I'll talk to you later, right?

R- Sure bye

Y/n- Love...

*End of call*

Y/n- You, bye... well I think I'll go to the gym, must keep training

You chilled for a while before going to the gym

*Insert work out music*

During training you had a few things in mind, well two actually: beating Jake and making Rae proud, that's all your mind was focusing on, not even the work.
