CHAPTER 9: Thinking About It
(PRINCESS KATHLEEN'S Point-of-View)
So, we'll have a meeting later, and Dylan will be there too. I wonder what I should wear. Maybe the pink skirt? Or the long dress? Or a ball gown? I'd better ask them... Oh, no, don't ask them, they'll be wondering why.
"Hey, Kathleen..." Kathryn waved at me.
I stood straight to listen. "What is it?"
"What are you thinking? You've been so quiet since we got out of the classroom. "
I thought of something for a while. I didn't answer her.
But she spoke to me again, "What are you thinking? Come on, spill! "
I think about spilling it on them, but I also think not to spill it.
How can I lie to them? I thought.
Now Kathryn's probably forgotten about it because she's smiling. Smiling? Why?
"Shh. It's Dylan. She's thinking of him. Don't disturb her! " Kateryn said, grinning.
What? I'm not thinking about Dylan, but he's just a part of what I'm thinking.
"Not him, exactly. He's just a part. " I said.
"So we're right?" Kateryn said.
"Of course you're not."
"Well, he's still a part of it," Kathryn said.
"Yes, and not him exactly," I argued.
"I give up. You're so darn smart. " Kathryn said
"Okay, no more teasing me about Dylan."
Then, after a minute, we heard some noises, and then I heard a familiar boy's voice calling me.
"Princess Kathleen!" Oh, it's just Dylan. Wait, what?
When he arrived, he bowed to us. "Hello, Princesses!"
"Hello, Dylan!" Kateryn said to him, shooting a quick glance at me.
"I'm just going to ask you if we can come early to the palace because Ella wanted to take a tour before the meeting, and I also wanted to explore it with you, Princesses."
They looked at me.
"Well, okay."
"So what time do you think we'll come?"
"Maybe at...4 p.m. We know meetings at the palace always start at 5 p.m. or 6 p.m., so I think 4 p.m. was the best time. " I answered.
Okay, so we'll be meeting you at the palace at 3:50 p.m. I'll be there with Ella, and Mom and Dad. I hope the tour is exciting! " Dylan said He still has his eyes on me, obviously waiting for an answer.
"Oh, okay," I replied stupidly.
"Thank you, Your Highness! "See you! " He said as he waved, then he ran.
So, Dylan's going to be in the palace early. So, I'll do my homework quickly. Besides, it was easy.
We started to walk down using the stairs, then we saw Ella and her friends. They quickly came to us.
