Chapter 17

"Oh, you know us? What gave it away?" asked a man with a cocky smile.

"Definitely not your dumb ass. It was Lady Nagant," said Izuku as he continued to glare at her.

"Oh you know me?" asked Kaina with a raised eyebrow.

"You used to be my favorite," said Izuku with a hint of betrayal in his voice.

"Oh, I'm honored," she said sarcastically.

All of a sudden, Izuku's phone buzzed, and he picked it up.

"Hey, what's up? Me? I'm with a party to clear a dungeon. Oh, yeah, you can go, I'll pick you up at 7 approx., and if I'm not able to make it, Kacchan will," said Izuku. He then cut the call and dialed Bakugo's number.

"WAZZUP DEKU?" Bakugo greeted/yelled.

"Ouch, Kacchan, my ears are not accustomed to your yelling, tone it down a little. Anyways, Izumi is going to some party of her senior. Yeah yeah, it's some big posh thingy. Anyways, I was asking whether you would be able to pick her up at 7 if I don't make it till then? Yeah, a dungeon. Yeah yeah, I'll get revaluated soon, anyways, call me at 6:50. If I don't pick then you pick her up," said Izuku as he disconnected.

"How old are you kid?" asked Lady Nagant.

"15," said Izuku dryly, irritating Lady Nagant.

"Listen here kid, I'm trying to be nice, alright, so give me a break," she said, but Izuku kept glaring at her. Though this was a soft glare hiding something else, which was a disappointment.

After getting no response, Lady Nagant just rolled her eyes.

"Ooh, kid are you into milfs? I mean you are playing tsundere," said the previous guy with a sleazy expression.

"Man, you're seriously messed up, though I can't really say I didn't expect it from you," said Izuku with a disgusted look on his face.

"Both of you shut up and join the others, this isn't a picnic," said a guy who stepped out of the car. He had bluish-grey hair and a scowl on his face.

"Don't worry about them, I am an A-rank from the monitoring department and I'll keep an eye on them. Those cuffs prevent their powers from surpassing C-rank level due to their latest technology," said the guy with a reassuring smile, but there was something weird about that smile.

"If you say so..." muttered Izuku as he looked at Kaminari who nodded.

"They are here to do some work to reduce their sentence. Since they are all either ex heroes or hunters, they're given a chance to redeem themselves," said the person.

Soon, they were all in the dungeon as the criminals decimated their opponents, with Kaminari and Ochako closely competing.

Kaminari's hand was blazing with lightning as he shocked the goblins and Ochako, using her quirk Zero Gravity combined with awakened power 'quirk enhancement' which basically turned her quirk into a gravikinesis (control over gravity) and all she did was to touch her opponent to crush them.

Sakumo meanwhile was slightly shaking, remembering what all happened during that day.

"Don't worry Sakumo, I'll protect you with my life," said Izuku with a close-eyed smile.

"Yeah, about that... maybe not that. I don't want to see you skewered again," said Sakumo half-jokingly.

Izuku had taken the backseat since he knew that the monitoring guy was fishy so he was hiding his skills and scarcely killed any goblin.

Kaminari too wasn't using any flashy moves as he decimated waves after waves of goblin.

Soon, they had reached a crossway.
