A/N

Hi guys this is going to be a good chapter. Anyway, there may be a bit of gayness, y'know, accidental near confessions of attraction, that sort of thing.

Third person pov.

They reach the bay of Tortuga by night fall and they dock the ship, getting many looks of surprise and apprehension as they've come to a pirate town in a Navy ship.

"The person who leads the saddest life, is one who has never breathed deep the sweet, proliferous bouquet that is Tortuga, savvy?" Jack states as they walk into the town square. Yet even as Jack praises the town he keeps a hand on Will's wrist, just in case.

"I'm telling you mate, if every town was like this one, no man would ever feel unwanted," Jack says as Will notices a woman with poorly done make up and a bright red dress storming toward Jack.

"Scarlett!" Jack exclaims and walks toward her but is stopped by her slap, "not sure I deserve that."

"Giselle," Jack says when he turns around again.

"Who was she?" Giselle asks, anger and hurt welling in her eyes.

"What?" Jack asks but this time he's expecting g the slap across his face, "I may have deserved that."

Once that's over Jack continues on his way to the tavern that he's sure Gibbs is at and is told that he'd been thrown to the pigs and was most likely still in the sty.

He collects a bucket of water from the well and instructs Will to do the same before he's enters the low roofed building in search of his trusted first mate.

Finding him passed out on the floor, Jack dumps the contents of his bucket on the man which serves to wake him up.

He jumps and looks around in wild confusion before he spots Jack and grins.

"Jack... you should know better than to wake a sleeping man. It's bad luck," Gibbs says.

"Fortunately I know hw to counter it. The man who did the waking buys the man who was sleeping a drink and the man who was sleeping drinks it while listening to a proposition from the man who did the waking," Jack suggests and both he and Will can see that Gibbs was utterly confused.

Nevertheless he agrees and Jack helps him up before Will throws his bucket of water at the man.

"Blast! I'm already awake!" He shouts, shivering slightly in the cool night air.

"That was for the smell," Will states and Jack glances at him in approval, the look sends shivers down Will's back and makes him squirm.

They walk back to the tavern and Jack finds them a nice secluded table at the back, before coming to stand behind Will at the doorway.

"Keep a sharp eye," Jack murmurs, his face so close to Will's that he can feel the pirates breath against his ear.

"Now, what's the nature of this venture of yorn," Gibbs asks, his voice barely audible in the raucous room.

"I'm going after the Black Pearl," Jack states and Gibbs chokes on his ale.

"What?!" he sputters and coughs.
