Jack leaps out of the way as a cannon speeds straight at him but only manages to damage the cell next to his. There's a small hole in the corner of his cell but it's not even enough to fit his hand through.
"My sympathies friend, you've no manner of luck at all," says the guy who he had spoken with before he leaves through the hole in the cell wall.
Jack takes up a bone and decides to try his apparent lack of luck at befriending the dog when he hears someone coming down the stairs to the prisons.
A gunshot sounds and the soldier that had been guarding the door falls down the stairs with a dull thud.
"This ain't the armoury!" one of the pirates that had entered exclaims while the other spots Jack.
"Well, well, well...look what we have here," he says to his partner, "Captain Jack Sparrow."
He spits at Jack's feet before continuing, "last time I saw you, you were all alone on a God forsaken island shrinking into the distance."
"His fortunes aren't improved much," the other jokes and they laugh heartily at that, to which Jack interrupts.
"Worry about your own fortunes, gentlemen," Jack says, his voice dangerously soft, "the deepest circle of hell is reserved for betrayers and mutineers."
The first one growls and grabs at Jack's throat but the moment his hand passes through the moonlight it turns into a skeleton.
"So there is a curse," Jack remarks, "That's interesting."
"You know nothing of hell," the guy growls.
They leave in a hurry, not even attempting to kill Jack.
Jack stares after them, his mind racing with thoughts, possibilities, plans and most importantly his revenge.
"That's very interesting..."
With the setting of the moon, comes the departure of the Pearl, but before they can do that, Captain Barbossa has a bit of annoying business to attend to.
He turns around dramatically as his two least favourite crew members bring a girl on board.
"I thought I made it perfectly clear that we'd not be takin any prisoners!" Barbossa yells at them, "no matter how pleasing they might look."
"She's invoked the right of parlay, Captain!" one complains, shoving her forward disdainfully.
"Captain Barbossa, I am here to negotiate the cessation of hostilities against Port Royale."
"There were a lot of long words there. We're naught but humble pirates. What is it that you want?" he says, a crooked smile resting upon his aged face.
"I want you to leave and never come back," Elizabeth replies in a measured voice, but she had already fallen into Barbossa's trap.
"I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request," Barbossa states smugly, "means no."
"Very well!" Elizabeth replies, pulling out the medallion and marching to the railing of the ship, stretching her arm over the edge and letting the piece of gold dangle from its chain, "I'll drop it."
No one seems to try to stop her, so she looks around incredulously.
"Behold the girl has something that shines, that matters to us...why?!" Barbossa snarls.
"It's what you've been looking for! I recognise this ship, I saw it eight years ago on the crossing from England!"
"Did you now...?"
No one makes a single move and her irritation grows until she grinds her teeth and says, "fine. Well I suppose if it is worthless then there's no point in me going to the trouble of keeping it."
She let's the chain slip through her fingers a bit and to her satisfaction the whole crew cries out in fear.
"No!" Barbossa yells and she catches it in time, a smirk on her face.
Barbossa realizes that she had played them and asks instead, "you have a name, Missy?"
"Elizabeth..."she pauses, remembering what was probably her hand maiden's last words to her, "...Turner. I'm a maid in the governor's household."
Barbossa's eyes widen in shock at the mention of Turner before he addresses his crew.
"Miss Turner. And how does a maid come to own a trinket such as that? Family heirloom, perhaps?"
"I didn't steal it, if that's what you mean."
"Very well. You hand it over and we'll put your town to the rudder and ne'er return," Barbossa states.
She reluctantly drops the medallion into his outstretched palm which he takes swiftly and hands to his monkey.
"Our bargain?" She asks fearful now that her only bargaining chip was gone.
The first mate starts giving orders and Elizabeth looks after Barbossa's retreating figure in shock.
"Wait...! You have to take me to shore! According to the code of the order-"
Barbossa cuts her off mid sentence.
"First, your return to shore was not part of our negotiations nor of our agreement, so I must do nothing, and secondly, you must be a pirate for the pirates code to apply to you, and you're not. And thirdly, the code is more what you'd call guidelines, than actual rules. Welcome aboard the Black Pearl, Miss Turner."
She's about to follow him when the pirates who brought her here each grab ahold of an arm and begin dragging her somewhere.

Hi there. As always thanks for reading and I know that there hasn't been much gayness yet, unless you count Jack's description of Will but it will arrive shortly.
As with the previous version I wanted to emphasise how long Will was unconscious for so I cut to Elizabeth actually being a badass.
Anyway ilysm and thanks once again for reading.
