Hi guys thank you very much for reading this. We are nearing the end. Thank you for reading.

Third person pov

Will leans against the chest and tries wrapping his hand in a bit of spare cloth but his hand is shaking too badly.

"Here, let me do that," Jack says softly and Will jumps, having not heard him approach.

"Thank you," he says, allowing Jack to take his hand and tie the bandage. He shivers as Jack trails his fingers along his hand, up his arm, resting on his shoulder for a second, before pulling him into a hug, holding him close.

"I am truly sorry that you had to go through all this," Jack apologises, squeezing him briefly before pulling away a bit, "I'm sorry that it's because of me that your life was put in danger so many times."

"Jack... I told you, I don't mind it in the least, if it means being with you now..." Will whispers, pressing closer to Jack.

"William..." Jack says biting his lip to stifle the wanton moan building in his chest.

Elizabeth shakes her head at the two of them a bemused smile on her flushed face, before walking out of the cave.

Jack runs his hands down Will's back, resting on his hips and pulling them impossibly closer. Will sighs at this, kissing and biting along Jack's neck and jaw.

"Guys!" Elizabeth shouts and Jack groans at the interruption, "You've got to come see this!"

They make their way down to the mouth of the cave and follow Elizabeth's hand to where she's pointing.

Jack curses under his breath as he watches someone steal his ship. Again.

"I'm sorry Jack," Elizabeth says, placing and hand on his shoulder.

"I guess that means that I'll have to come with you and Will back to Port Royale," Jack sighs.

"Jack... they-" Will tries to say, his voice catching in his throat.

"They'll kill you. They hang the both of you," Elizabeth continues.

"Not if you plead to Norrington," Jack states.

"It won't work, he wants you dead..." Elizabeth admits.

"Not for me," Jack says with a breathless chuckle, "I know that that's impossible, but you can still save Will. I'm sure of it."

"Jack!" Will protests desperately.

"I love you, William. Nothing can change that," Jack whispers, fighting back tears that threaten to spill.

"Jack..." tears stream down Will's face, his eyes glisten like diamonds in the blue light of the moon

Elizabeth sees the boat that's lowered from the Dauntless, sees Norrington's hat as his figure grows closer to the island, sees her future in Port Royale, married to the Commodore, always searching for something, searching for the sense of freedom that she'd only ever felt on a ship, the sense of belonging and home that she'd experienced on the Pearl.

And then Norrington was standing before her, a satisfactory smile on his face. She shivered at the thought that he'd wanted to marry her since they'd met.

She was fourteen at the time.

She wants nothing more than to go with Will and Jack, who had become practically family by now, more so than her own father, but she'd be locked up in a cage, a trophy for Norrington to show off to his friends at special occasions.

She glances back at Jack, briefly, and winks as discretely as possible. She'd save them. She'd save both of them.

They get to the ship and the boat is taken up where both Jack and Will are chained and taken to the brig. Her father doesn't even acknowledge her but she knows that he won't be annoyed for very long. She also knows better than to push Will's case now.

As Jack would say, "wait for the opportune moment."

For now she's content to sleep in her private quarters for a while before sneaking out to get some food to Will and Jack, who have been locked in separate cells that are the furthest away from each other.

She hates that Barbossa was actually kinder than Norrington has ever been. She hates that Barbossa didn't kill her and only used some of her blood, that he fed her and her own country promoted the abuse of prisoners.

It's with a hurried thanks that they accept the food and then she has to go before someone finds her out of the room that was more like a prison if she's being honest.

They reach Port Royale just as the sun begins to rise. Her father gives a small speech to the people that had gathered to meet them, something about having captured pirates and finding her and it being a successful voyage.

"Tell that to the bloodstains on the deck," she thinks but does not say.

"Or to the people who are dying from hunger in this town," she thinks but doesn't say.

"Or to the good men who'll be hung later today," she thinks but doesn't say.

Instead as Will and Jack are brought out of the brig she walks up to her father and pleads that he releases Will, knowing that he'd cave in to her request when she sees the pained expression on his face.

He nods and almost immediately, Will is taken back to the smithery, his hands still in cuffs and Jack is taken to the holding cell in the battlements as the gallows are built for his hanging.

She's taken home to be bathed and clothed and fed but she insists that she at least washes herself and her servants allow her that bit of decency. They help her get into another fancy dress but she removes the corset, not willing to go through that ordeal again.

《Scene change.》

Will is shoved into the entrance of the smithery after his shackles have been removed. He turns quickly, and faces the dozen or so soldiers that crowd around the doorway, Norrington at the front.

"Now Elizabeth may have pitted you and begged for your freedom, but I still condemn you to the same fate as your pirate friend," Norrington spits, "however, I can't harm you without upsetting my fiancé, so I'll just have to leave you to the mercy of some vigilantes that we just couldn't stop."

"Have at him, boys," he says with a sneer as the soldiers enter the smithery.
