Long road home

*Nova's POV*

We travelled down the path that Libertá and I raced up meer hours ago. Luca and Falicitá led the way, with Pace, Libertá and Dabito behind them and then Stellae and I behind them. Like a train in a way. Stellae and I were just staring at the nature around us, not saying a word to each other but not a need to either.

'Sorry I made you worry over nothing...' Stellae says. I look over to her, she wasn't making eye-contact with me just staring at the ground in disappointment of herself. I put on a soft smile that only showed when she was with me or around me. I use my hand to lift her face to meet mine. I held her head firmly in place as we stopped on the road as the others kept walking.

'Your not 'nothing' Stellae, you are very important, important to Regalo, to Mama and Papa, to the Famiglia and to me..' I mumble the last bit. Her eyes widen and a small smile grazes her features. The smile that just makes you want to explode. 'So don't every think of yourself like that, alright?' I ask. Her smile widens and she hugs me.

'Alright, thank you Nova...' she mumbled into my chest as she hugged me. I squeezed her back.

'Thats my job Star' I mumble into her soft black hair. She pulled away slowly and looked up at me again.

'What would I do without you?' She asks. I grin.

'Well you would die because of those stupid bastards anyway' I say still holding her waist. She throws her head back in laughter. Her laughter was like music that no one could recreate and it was so unique it was beautiful.

With a smile now plastered on my face we continue walking and chatting now with my arm protectively around her. I couldn't be more happy about anything.

I would do anything for you my shining Star.

I would fight the fiercest lion.

Take you to the foour corners of the earth.

Jump off the highest building.

Drown in the deepest seas.

Suffer through the coldest temperatures.

Go through the worst drought......

Just to keep you safe.

And maybe just maybe......

To love you as well.
