chapter 18: everybody agrees then

Waking up Hope didn't immediately think about all the bad things that had happened the last few weeks no she thought about the warm feeling of the girl lying next to her. How her family came to visit and how nice it was to finally have a sort of pack here at Mystic falls.

But those thoughts grew dark very fast. Her mom was still in a coma.

When Freya figured out what the poison in Hayley's blood stream was everyone was relieved.

But the ingredients she needed to cure her could take weeks to find even with a family of originals looking for them.

The rest had quickly figured out that all the blood bags in their private courters had been poisoned and decided to search through the whole blood supply to make sure nobody else got poisoned.

Weirdly enough the only blood bags that were poisoned were theirs.

They had thought that Alaric would have tried to at last kill all the vampires at the school, but it was only them.

There was so much the needed to fix at the moment.

The necromancer, the weird book, Alaric it was all getting a bit much.

Hope felt Lizzie stirring next to her and quickly tried to push everything to the back of her mind so she could focus on her girlfriend.

"Hey there sleeping beauty."

"Good morning." She yawned "What time is it?"

"Early enough that we don't have to do anything."

"Then what are you doing up?"

"Just thinking, sweetheart nothing for you to worry about"

"Sure, but if you want to talk about it, I'm told I'm a very good listener." The blonde said while cuddling deeper in Hope's side.

"Thank you love, but aside from that how are you? Are you and your sister like totally okay now?"

"Things are still a little weird sometimes, but I think we are moving past things. Plus, she began seeing Penelope again and becoming great friends with that girl from Mystical falls if I didn't know my sister, I would almost say she was in a three-way relationship."

"You mean Maya? The sheriff's daughter?"

"Yeah, you know her?"

"yeah she and I used be really close but then her mom moved but I guess their back now"

"Close?" Lizzie said with a grim look on her face.

Hope laughed while she began tickling Lizzie. "Am I detecting a little jealousy there?"

"N-o-o-o" Lizzie stuttered from laughing.

"Admit it and I'll stop"

"Never!"

"O-kay I'm a-a little jealous now just please stop!"

"You know that you got nothing to worry about right. I am totally and utterly in love with you."

"I love you too even with all your tickling"

Hope leaned in to kiss Lizzie, but the blonde moved aside so that Hope kissed her cheek.

Hope tilted her head looking at Lizzie her eyebrows raised.

"You can't say I love you and not expect me to kiss you Saltzman."

"Not before you brushed your teeth Mikaelson, I love you and all but your tribid abilities clearly didn't give you a power to awaken with a perfectly minty morning breath."

Hope's mouth opened in shock. "Take that back."

"Nope, now go brush your teeth so I can give you a kiss."

Hope rolled her eyes but stood up to go to her bathroom to brush her teeth Lizzie following behind.

After that was done Hope turned around. "Now may I finally kiss my girlfriend?"

"Yes, you may"

Hope stood on her tips and brought her lips to the blonde. What was meant to be a short morning kiss began turning into a full make out session.

Lizzie led Hope towards the bed and laid her down. But before it could get any further a knock was heard on her door.

Josie's voice was heard through the door: "Hope, sorry if I bothered you but your dad told me to get you for a meeting in mom's office."

Hope sighed but knew she needed to go. Kissing the blonde again with a short peck. She stood up opening the door for the brown-haired Saltzman.

"Thanks Josie I'll be there."

"Ow Lizzie I should have guessed you would be here. Want to join me and Pen for breakfast, they have Brussels waffles today?"

"Sure Jo, I'll meet you there."

At the office

"Hey Hope thanks for coming" Caroline said seeing the auburn girl walking in.

"Of course, but what is this meeting exactly about?"

"Well, we realized there is a lot that is left unfinished here at the school like Alaric, the necromancer The merge, the unlinking of Klaus and Hayley, Hayley's coma. There is so much to do, and we were thinking that we should with discus some of it so that we can deal with the simpler things like the book and the merge later" Davina answered.

"Okay what's first?"

"The golden arrow, what are we going to do with it?" Kol said stepping towards the couch.

"We could destroy it, or we could give it to the necromancer or just nothing at all and let it just stay where it is." Caroline replied

"What if we just give the necromancer that stupid arrow, it is not like it could hurt any of us" Klaus suggested.

"I don't think it's a good idea we don't know if that is all he is after" Freya said but she saw in most eyes of her friends and family that they were thinking about doing it anyway.

"Niklaus might be right, it would hurt no one in the school and we might be able to negotiate for Klaus and Hayley's survival" Elijah agreed

"How far are the witches with the unlinking spell, if the have any progress we might not even need to give an artifact to him" Rebekah asked

"They might have something that might work I said that they could try today" Caroline replied

"Why don't give him the bloody arrow anyway, it is one less enemy and we could just focus on a way the find Alaric and kill him" said Kol who had been sitting in the corner listening to the rest.

Hope stayed silent listening to all what was said. The witches might have found a way to keep her parents here.

"I agree that guy has been a pain in the ass the last half year but maybe we could strike a deal with him"

"If my niece thinks it is a good plan than I agree as well." Rebekah answered

"Everybody agrees then" Caroline asked looking around.

Everyone looked at each other and nodded.

"It is agreed than" Klaus said "Today we take care of the necromancer tomorrow we finish Alaric off"
