"How are you holding up?" Farkle asked Vanessa from his large double king size bed as they were now in his room after the event of the day, already being dark outside with the moon up high.
"Well I just took a shower in your rain featured shower so I'd say pretty relaxed." Vanessa joked, slightly though she always enjoyed showering at Farkle's place, as she finished drying her hair going over to sit beside Farkle. "When we have a place together can we get those rain features?"
"We can get as many as you want, my Queen." Farkle held her hand interlocking them with each other as he leaned forward placing a loving kiss on her forehead. "But that's not what I meant, what I mean is how do you feel about Maddie actually being your cousin?"
"Should I know how it feels? I still haven't for the first time and I feel like this won't be the last time a new family member comes into my life. Plus this gives Maddie more of an access to dress me as anything she wants." Vanessa questioned not really ever sitting down for a moment to process when it happened that Veronica was related to Enrique.
"If I'm honest I don't know. I mean I'm happy to have more family but on the other hand. . . why didn't my Uncle Jack tell me about this, and this man always calls me telling me about the new noise his bones made. Did everyone else know too?" She continued actually allowing time for it to process her mind.
"This is really getting you to think isn't it?" Farkle asked Vanessa lifting her chin slightly so they were eye level with each other and that way he was able to tell his girlfriend had many thoughts running through her mind.
"I don't know this just- it already happened to me years ago, this is happening to Maddie now and all I can think about is if this is gonna happen again do I have more family that's just gonna pop out." Vanessa admitted what was troubling her and she knew she would eventually especially around Farkle he somehow bring that out of her.
"I wish I can tell you that things will get easier and maybe it won't happen again but this isn't something I know too well about." Farkle sighed as he wrapped an arm around Vanessa's shoulders bringing the two closer to each other wishing that he could give her an answer she'd want or need.
"It's okay, mi amor, you can't know everything." Vanessa smiled slightly looking into those icy blue eyes that get her lost every time she stares at them already feeling more relaxed than before. "Plus this is Maddie's situation. I should be focusing on her more than myself right now."
"Well considering this is your Uncle and you now known cousin I think you have every right to think about yourself in this conversation." Farkle responded to his beautiful girlfriend as he ran his hand through her hair soothing her at the touch.
