Time, it never made sense.

Some days it moves so slowly that it could make one simple day feel like weeks.

And other days it speeds by in a flash of an eye.

Vanessa and Farkle have been faced with this truth as the days to their wedding chased them close by with their friends and family all joining in.

The two loved them dearly there was no question about that but the lead up of the wedding had definitely brought out several opinions.

LESS THAN 120 HOURS TILL THE WEDDING

Just five days before her wedding Vanessa was in her mother's studio standing in front of the mirror being surrounded by her mothers, Jennifer, aunts, grandmothers and great grandmother all holding different gowns.

They had all insisted on her having several gowns measured to her size so Vanessa could have options in case she changed her mind before needing to get dressed.

Of course her parents weren't going to disagree, they would all do anything to make her wedding day the day of her dreams.

Vanessa on the other hand had disagreed saying she would only need her wedding gown and her outfit for the reception which all she wanted was a sundress or romper and sneakers hoping to feel more comfortable for the later hours.

She also didn't want her family to be spending too much money because even though both Farkle and her had thought they would be the ones paying for their wedding their parents insisted on doing so wanting to give them that gift.

Though she was grateful for them it did mean there were a lot of options given to her more than she knew she could handle.

"No, no, su vestido de novia debe ser tradicional." Abuela Jessica, Melissa's mother, shook her head placing the dress that reminded her of her own in front of Vanessa showing it off as Enrique's mother, Savannah, agreed.

Looking into the mirror Vanessa watched as her grandmother dropped the wedding dress against her letting her get the whole view of the tea length dress covered in lace while the sleeves barely landed above her elbow.

Without even wearing it Vanessa already knew the sleeves would be bothering her all throughout the ceremony, it had been quite like the one she wore while being a bridesmaid during one of her cousins' weddings.

She remembered being uncomfortable the whole day with that dress but knowing how important having that dress meant for her cousin she pushed through it.

"Mamá, just because you wore it to your wedding in the 50s doesn't make it traditional, it makes it vintage." Tia Maria, Melissa's eldest sister, turned to her mother with a small sigh remembering how she always suggested the same dressing style for her daughters.
