Everything was silent.

Nobody moved as Vanessa and Jason stood in front of their doors seeing their memories play just moments before the accident.

Both of them saw things differently, heard everything differently and while that did have them worry considering they didn't know how that affected the them that was in the hospital a part of them eased hearing Farkle's voice.

"So he's okay?" Vanessa asked looking over to her family and Sofia in a hushed voice praying that her boyfriend was still alive and well.

"He had been unconscious for a while but last I saw he was responsive." Andrea leaned on a try close to her looking over to her younger cousin seeing the relief washing over her face.

"Wait, you saw him? Does that mean we can see him? And the others?" Jason moved his eyes from the memories looking over to Andrea then to his mother and Vanessa's Nonno.

"That's a tricky question." Sofia responded after sharing a look with Nonno and Andrea as she walked up to her son and Vanessa slowly. "You see we get to go down with the others quite often seeing them live their lives by their side but all that was possible after we weren't tethered to the world."

"But you two. . .you two are a different case." Nonno walked over to Vanessa placing a hand on her shoulder as he looked between the duo considering their situation was different to theirs.

"Yeah we've heard that all our lives." Vanessa sighed heavily sharing a look with her best friend who couldn't help but agree seeing as the two always heard things about them like that. "But what does that mean? We're not allowed to see our friends?"

"Here's the thing we get to see people easily because we're not bound to anything but ourselves you two on the other hand are still bound to your bodies. . .you're trying to survive. Your energy is split apart to keeping you connected to your bodies or giving it all to you here." Andrea explained to the best friend duo as she first gestured to herself and the two adults then to Vanessa and Jason sharing what she had learned.

"You know if we do make it alive it wouldn't be the worst thing if we let Smackle do her study on us being supernatural." Jason leaned down to Vanessa whispering to her remembering when Smackle excitedly brought up her experiment.

"Maybe but I don't want to become a guinea pig that quickly." Vanessa hummed considering the option herself but she quickly turned to her cousin recalling her explanation. "Wait, our energy depends on us how much we can produce? Then does that mean we can make that energy here just enough for us to see what is happening to us back home?"

"That's right if we produce the energy here it would keep enough energy in our physical bodies to keep us going right?" Jason quickly understood what Vanessa was going at trying to help her figure out what their best options were.

"Do either of you understand what either of you are saying?" Andrea raised her eyebrows at the two wanting to see their point after she looked between her Nonno and Sofia.

"Yes." The two shook their heads knowing that it may not make sense to the others but to them it made so much sense.

"Look, we need to see what is happening back home. If we're in between the very least we can do is make sure everyone is okay. So if we have to Dean Winchester this situation then we're gonna do that." Vanessa looked between them as she walked closer to the door of her most recent memory knowing that she couldn't just sit around and do nothing.
