Turns out, Debbie didn't end up spending the night alone. Everyone ended up sleeping over at Debbie's house. All sniveled and grieved with Debbie, because Debbie was like a mother to all of them. And watching a mother grieve in pain stings badly. They all woke up, ate breakfast and greeted each other off to work.

Debbie drove herself and Tammy to work. When they arrived, they were just in time to catch Lou and Heather kissing each other off.

Lou POV:

"Quick, they're here." Heather pulled me in and kissed me. I gotta say, she's a good kisser. We kissed for a long period of time, until Tammy disturbed us, "Get a f*cking room, you two. I'm not kidding." She seemed disappointed and more serious than usual. And it scared us.

"Chill, Tammy."

"No! Don't you dare tell me..."

Debbie appeared from behind and grabbed Tammy's hand, "Tammy, just leave it. Let's go."

"Wait, Debbie! Are you ready for later? 7 right?"

"Yeah! I'm excited. Are you?"

"Mhm. Make sure to pick me up at 7."

Debbie walked over to me and hugged me, "Here's your hug from yesterday." She whispered and man, it chills down my spine.

The rest of the day was pretty fine. I'd stare at Debbie, she'd catch me and I'd look away, blushing. She's just so ethereal and graceful. I wonder if my plan is working.

Heather POV:

I'm pretty sure I'm catching feelings for Lou. She's paying me well and taking great care of me. And she's a good kisser. A really good one. But her interest is only in Debbie. Debbie this, Debbie that. I need to knock some sense into her. I called her on her break time to check on how she is.

"Hello? Heather? Hey darling. What's up?" Oh god, it always gave me butterflies.

"Nothing. Just checking up on you."

"Mmm, ok. I'm so excited y'know."

"For what?"

"My date. Well, not date, but night out with Debbie again."

"Oh right!"

"Yeah."

Suddenly, an idea hit my head, "LOU! You should... stay."

"What?"

"Stay. Don't go. Make her more jealous."

"What?"

"Yeah. It'll make her more jealou, she'll fall more in love with you."

"But... I promised her-"

"But if you want the plan to succeed, you have to make her more jealous."

"But that'll only break her more. Well, if she is broken already. And I don't want that to happen."

"But it'll push the plan further."

"Mmm. Alright."

Lou hung up the phone.

Debbie POV:

It was 6:15 right now and I headed over to Lou's house. I couldn't wait, honestly. I called her to let her know I'm on my way, but she didn't pick up. But Debbie didn't care. At least she gets to spend the whole afternoon with Lou.

Unknown to Lou, she was sort of the engine for Debbie's hearts. If engine Lou stopped working and responding back, Debbie's heart wouldn't function properly. In fact, Debbie's heart broke down many times. The first time it had broken down was when engine Timmy decided to no longer respond, then came some other replacements, didn't fit properly, then came Claude, but that engine was a fraud. A big deceiving, rigged, douchebag engine. Now Lou is not a fraud, nor a replacement, nor a crappy sh*t engine, but this engine wasn't a patient one. Always wanted to speed everything a bit too fast.
