So this was the day. I was going to go on a date with Isac freaking Elliot. I can't believe it. It was Friday evening a couple of days after I met Isac. He'd texted me the details and we were going to meet up at McDonalds and eat. No fancy date, I know, but that's how I like it.

It was now 5 pm and we were going to meet at 6. I called Amanda and put her on speaker as I tried to pick what to wear for this McDonalds date.

"I think you should wear that purple tank" Amanda said. "You know: the one with the small white flowers"

I knew exactly which tank top she meant. It was the one my mom had given me a couple of days before she left us, she knew it meant a lot to me.

"Come on, Joey, this is a special evening" she said. "You can wear it with a pair of shorts!"

I sighed. "Amanda, it's cold outside. I can't walk around in a tank and shorts like it's summer."

"Why not?" Amanda laughed, and I laughed as well.

"I'm thinking of my orange sweater with a pair of white jeans?" I said as I turned the speaker off and put the phone to my ear. The sound from the speaker annoys me. I looked through my clothes trying to find that sweater.

"Which sweater? Which one are you talking about?" Amanda asked. "Do you have an orange sweater?"

"Well, it's not exactly orange, it's a mild orange" I said. "Kind of on the limit to yellow, if you know what I mean?" I found the sweater hanging between some of my dresses. "Found it"

"Okay, text me a photo of it later"

"Yeah, sure" I said. "Amanda, I miss you" I sat down on my bed.

"I miss you too, Joey. I really do." I could hear Amanda sighing. "When are you coming back here?"

I looked around. "I don't know. Soon, I hope"

"Mhm" Amanda muttered. "But Joey, I've got to go now."

"Okay..."

"Text me that pic, kay?"

"Yeah, sure" I said, and with that we hung up. I'll have to do this on my own then.

Half an hour later I was done with everything. I had got dressed, made my makeup which only was some mascara and blush and straightened my hair. Yes, my hair was curly, but I would love to have straight hair. I took a photo of myself in the mirror to send Amanda, and then I went downstairs. McDonalds wasn't located that far from my house, it took around ten minutes to get there, so I watched a bit TV so that the time would go faster 'til when I had to go. I didn't want to get there and have to wait.

When it was around 5:40 I heard a knock on the door. I turned the TV off, since I thought that I could leave after I answer the door, and went to open. There was a little girl standing there.
"Hi, do you want to buy cookies?" She was wearing a scout uniform but she was really pretty. I have a gift of sensing if someone is going to be hot when they get older, and this girl was definetly going to grow up getting hotter and hotter.

"No, thank you, I haven't got no money" I said and smiled a bit sympathetically. "Sorry"

The girl looked up at me and smiled. "It's okay" Then she turned around to go.

"See ya" I said, and then closed the door. I put on my sneakers and grabbed my jacket, it was time to go.

It was a sunny day, but still some clouds were moving on the sky. I got a text from Jai asking if I wanted to hang out tomorrow.
