We were walking in the light rain to school at 8:10 am, hand in hand. Isac was wearing a white T-shirt with black saggy pants and a jeans jacket, and let me just tell you: that jacket makes him irresistable.

"So... Are you excited?" I asked him after we'd walked in silence for a while.

"Yeah" he answered. "Are you?"

I shrugged. "Not really," I said. "school's not really my thing"

Isac chuckled and by then, we'd reached the old playground where me and Isac had one of our first kisses. I smiled as we walked past it and soon into the school's area.

We walked in through the big front doors of school and were immediately hit by the crowds of students. My same old school.

Isac followed me to my locker and I put my bag in, also taking out my math book and pencil and closed the locker.

"My locker is... number 143" Isac said looking at the schedule he was holding in his hands.

"Oh, that is..." I took his hand and scanned the hallway. Then I pointed at an island of lockers and said: "there!"

We walked over there and Isac put his bag in his locker and then closed it again. He hadn't gotten a math book from Mr Hairschwagger yet. We got a few eyes on us here and there as we walked through the hallway to the classroom, but nothing too disturbing. Also, I was pretty sure that the school had said that Isac Elliot was moving here, so it didn't come as a shock for eventual Ellioteers.

The bell rang for class and we entered the classroom as the first people and sat down in the back. We watched as the room got full, and finally Mr Hairschwagger entered and closed the door. I saw Jai taking a seat at the front.

"Hello class," he said and looked out over the classroom. His eyes got big when he saw me and Isac sitting in the back. "oh hello Joey, and our new student Isac"

I nodded. "Hi" I said quietly.

"Isac, do you want to stand up and introduce yourself?" Mr Hairschwagger asked and then chuckled. "Even though I'm pretty sure the class already knows who you are"

Isac chuckled as well and stood up from his chair, "I'm Isac, and... Yeah, I just moved here" he had an awkward smile on his face. I could see Keela sitting in the other side of the front row from Jai, giving me a death glare.

Isac's Point of View

As I sat down after I introduced myself, I saw a very familiar face giving Joey a death glare. Shit, I didn't know that she went here.

I caught her eye before I turned towards Joey. I had to do everything I could to avoid Keela Rister.

We had a few classes after math, and then it was time for lunch. Me and Joey weren't that hungry, so we hung out in the library during the break. It was almost empty, except from us, the librarian and two others. This school was okay. I mean, it's better than the last one, but people weren't as friendly here. For example, if you hold the door open for anyone, they don't say 'thank you' - they don't even look at you. That was a common thing to do in my old school.

"Isac?" Joey snapped me out of my thoughts from where she was sitting opposite to me at the table. "What are you thinking about?"

I shrugged it off and smiled. "Oh, nothing" I answered. It really was nothing.

"Okay" Joey said and smiled. She hadn't said a word about Keela, and I hoped that the two weren't familiar with each other. If they were in any way, I hope that they were friends, not enemies. Because if they hated each other, and Joey found out about me knowing Keela, she'd ask how we knew each other. And it would definitely hurt Joey if I told her the truth.
