16| You see them regenerate

10th Doctor

Something was wrong with the doctor, and you didn't know what it was,

''Doctor, what is it, what's wrong,'' you asked him

''I'm dying,'' he told you

''what? what do you mean your dying?'' you asked,  you were confused, but you saw the look on his face

'you see, where I come from, our bodies die, but, we regenerate, we are able to keep living,''

'' I'm still confused,'' you laughed

''my body will change, but I'll still be the doctor,'' he told me

''Doctor, why didn't you tell me about this sooner,''

''I was hoping that it wouldn't happen with you,'' he said

you started breathing heavily,

''I love you'' he said, you saw his hands glow orange

''Doctor,'' you said, you felt yourself wanting to cry

''please say it back, please,''

''I love you too'' you told him and as you did his head went back and the orange stuff came out through his head and his hands. and then it just stopped and looked at the man standing there, you knew it was the doctor, it just didn't look like your doctor.

11th doctor

you walked across trenzolor, you look around at the buildings destroyed, everything was on fire, you walked up to the TARDIS and placed your hand on it, you saw what happened to the doctor when he was on the top of the building, how he stopped the  Daleks, you just didn't know what it was. you opened the door and walked in ''Doctor,'' you said

''I'm here,'' He said

''can I ask, what happened to you, what was that orange stuff?'' you asked the timelord

'' regeneration energy, my body is going to change soon, I told you I was dying, and I did,''

''but you look the same, how has your body change, why does it have change?'' you moved closer to him and put your hand on his cheek

''I'm sorry,'' he said, he looked up at something and you followed his gaze,

''doctor what are you looking at,''

''past memories coming forward, the first face this face saw,'' he said

''Amy,'' you said and he nodded, he moved to the stairs and put his hand up

''you know I'll always remember this,'' he said ''I'll always remember when the doctor was me,''

''I love you,'' you told him

''I love you too (Y/F/N)'' he smiled at you as he took off his bowtie and dropped it too the floor, his head went back quickly and came back up, and where the doctor was standing was a new man, a older man, you knew it was the Doctor, you could see it in his eyes but he wasn't quite right yet.

12th doctor

you walked in to the TARDIS after the doctor, You knew on a basis what was going to happen next, but you just didn't want to think about it, the doctor was about to change, you always remembered when Clara told you about his old form turning into this one, you never thought that he would do it with you around, you didn't want to say it, but what choice did you have, its not like you could have stayed where you were, but you knew seeing him change was going to hurt you.

''Doctor,'' you said simply, he wasn't turning around and you wanted to see that face one last time, ''we both know what's going to happen, please look at me,''. he did, you walked over to him and took his hand,

''I love you,'' you told him ''please never forget that,''

''I wasn't planning on forgetting anytime soon,'' he said and you smiled

''I'm glad,'' you said

''please do something for me?'' the doctor asked you

''anything,'' you told him and put your hand on his face.

''whoever i become, don't stop loving me please, don't leave me please,'' he said

'' I will always love you and i will never leave you i promise,''. He looked at you gratefully, he kissed the palm of your hand before making you move it

''goodbye (Y/F/N),'' he said

''please don't say it like I'm ever going to see you again,''

''you wont be seeing this face again,'' he said

''but it will still be you, you won't change that much,'' you said 

''Goodbye,'' he said simply before the orange regeneration energy started to come from him, you covered your eyes, you saw the brightness stopped and you moved your eyes down,

''brilliant,'' the new version of the doctor said

''Doctor,'' you said before the TARDIS jerked ''we're crashing.''

13th doctor

''Doctor, what's happening,'' you asked her

''this body, its dying, and I can't do anything about it,'' she told you

''what do you mean its dying,'' you asked, the doctor didn't tell you anything about her people.

''my people, well mainly me, when we're so close to death, our bodies they change,''

''and it's about to happen to you?'' you asked and she nodded ''will you change a lot, or is it just your body?''

'' it differs a lot, I'm afraid I don't have a straight answer for that,''  she said and you nodded ''I will still love you, I will never stop loving you,''

''how do you know,'' you asked

''it is the only thing I am certain off, when it comes to you, i know i will never stop loving you,''

''I promise I won't stop loving you either,''

''I know,'' she said

you smiled at her and she smiled back, you hugged her, you definitely needed to and you know she needed it too. her head rested between your shoulder and you head, and you stayed like that or a second or too but then she pulled away, and moved away from you.

''doctor,'' you said , and she recognised the pain in your voice

''you need to say back now,'' she said '' I really don't want to hurt you,'' you nodded and moved back from her, her hands started to glow,

''it's been a while since this has happened,'' she smiled her hands spread out and her head went back, she was changing and you had no idea who she would be next after the next second or two.
