I felt my heart stop.

Was I going to die?

I don't know and I didn't want to.

I heard a loud shriek and felt a bounce beneath my feet. From that point on, I knew my life was about to change.

The car stopped and I heard a voice.

"What is going on back there!" said a strange man.

The strange man was wearing a thin black shirt with some dark blue dress pants. His hair was dark brown and so were his eyes. He's a bit tan but not as tan as me.

Then I remembered the not so conversation me and the mysterious man were having.

"Did you tell her?," said the strange man.

"No...not yet," the mysterious man said slowly.

"What?" I said.

"Nothing," said the mysterious man

The strange man laughed and I looked at him confusingly.

"We're here," said the stange man.

They took me to a old broken down house.

The house was dark brown but I knew that it was not the same color as when they first built it. It had broken windows and shattered glass on the floor. The couches were as dusty as the walls. I wondered why they brought me here.

"Long time, no see," said the mysterious man.

Then I noticed that he had his hand out pointing to the couch telling me to have a seat but I was shook my head no in disgust.

Did they live here? Do they live here? I wondered.

"Well, I know what your thinking,?" the mysterious man said smiling. "Why did you to kidnap me?"

"Well, there's a reason, but I'm not telling just yet," said the mysterious man, "You got to get to know me first."

"I'm Hunter, and that's Elijah," said Hunter also know as mysterious man.

"We're not here to play games or have converstations Hunter, and if you don't take this seriously then I'm going to ask you to leave," said Elijah also know as strange man.

"Sorry, brother," said Hunter.

I was confused but somehow not worried anymore.

I studied their face in the light. I could tell Elijah was older than Hunter.

Then I blurted out, "What do you want with me?" nervously.

"Well, that's for me to know and you to dot, dot, dot," said Hunter.

"JUST TELL ME!" I yelled angerly.

Then both Elijah and Hunter put on a serious face in under a second after I yelled.

"You're a Leader," said Elijah.

"A LEADER...REALLY?" I yelled in frustration.

"It's true," said Hunter with a smile.

I became angry and yelled even louder, "YOU KIDNAPPED ME JUST SO YOU CAN PLAY GAMES!"

"We're not playing any games...it's true," said Hunter calmly.

"I don't believe it," I said with Hunter's calmness affecting me.

"You're a Shevra and we're a Monti," said Hunter.

"Our generation we're at war...are at war," said Elijah.

"What's a Monti?" I asked.

"It's the name of our kingdom." said Elijah.

I just laughed a quick laugh and looked away. I don't believe it and don't know what a leader is, I thought.

"What's a leader?" I asked, daring them for an excuse.

"You have a kingdom to take care of, also known as your people," said Hunter.

"What?" I asked.

"Your kingdom is small and you were suppose to try and help them but you were never there...now they're all hiding in cottages in the woods near a lake," Elijah said quickly.

"Why are you telling me this...how come my parents didn't tell me?" I asked one last time.

"Your parents were afraid and fled to be a normal family with no problems of our kingdom attacking yours, our parents threatned to kill you if they didn't give up....anything else?" Elijah said annoyed.

"I just don't understand, I feel like your not telling the truth and playing your games," I said questionably.

"Don't believe us, we'll take you to your people," said Hunter.

"No," I said, "Why did you tell me, you know, if we're enemies?" I asked for what feels like the billionth question I asked.

"We need something from you...something you have and you need to give," said Elijah in a hurry.

"Need?" I asked.

"Yes...," said Hunter.

"Well, spill it...what do you need?" I questionably asked.

"A necklace...it has a moonstone in the middle called...,"

"The Moonjust," I said interrupting Elijah.

"You have it?" Hunter said as soon as he heard me say the name.

"Maybe," I said, "Why do you want it?"

"It was ours in the beginning...your bastard of a father took it." said Elijah angerly.

I could tell they wanted it as soon as possible and that gave me an advantage.

"Well, I could make a deal with you," I said.

I heard Elijah laugh but didn't bother to look at him.

"Tell me what your doing with it and I'll give it to you," I said.

"If we tell you, then you will definitely not give it up." said Hunter.

"We shouldn't have told her everything...we could've have kept it a secret you know," Elijah whispered.

"She would've have found out anyways," said Hunter whispering back.

"But it would've have been too late," said Elijah.

"What would've been too late?" I asked worried.

"None of your business," Elijah said angerly.

"IT IS MY BUSINESS IF YOU WANT THE MOONJUST NECKALACE!" I yelled with no regret.

Then I saw Elijah's eyes apologizing and from that point on, I figured out the problem. Elijah had anger issues.

"Come with me," said Elijah, "I'm gonna take you somewhere."

I followed him but I knew I was going to regret it.
