Mate. The word tangles through my brain. My Mate.
" Adrian " I whisper
His arms wrap around me, his touch is like fire.
" Adrian, I have a feeling this will work. "
" I do to Ness " he whispers and I feel a tingling on my neck. He starts to kiss up and down and a small moan escapes but soon I pull away.
" What's wrong, Ness? " Adrian asks, his voice suddenly filling with concern.
" nothing, but I need to meet Feyre, " I say
" Are you trying to avoid me? "
" No I'm not, but I do have duties to attend to and as do you "
Adrian pouted. It's quite funny actually. I giggle and press a kiss to his lips.
" Adrian that is all for now! "
" Yes, your majesty! " he says with an exaggerated bow.
" I love you! " I yell as he's walking out the door.
" I love you too! " I yell and see one final smile in those green eyes as he leaves.
I turn to the basket my parents can send me letters through and to my surprise, there is a letter....from my father.
Dear Nessie
We arrived back in Forks 1 month ago. Our family is broken, especially Jake. He left a few weeks ago. He wasn't ready to accept the fact that you were gone. I'm ok with you in that other world because you were right we were keeping things from you and no matter how much we don't want it to be true we have to face the facts a realm was relying on you. Mum occasionally sees glimpses and so at least we know you're safe. Carlisle found the ancient blood by the way it turns out we had some in the basement. I knew Carlisle was old but I didn't know he was that old. We're fine here. Come visit soon.

When I finish reading I'm crying. Jake is broken. I told Adrian I loved him. Today. But that's the truth I've always loved Jake but he was never truly it! I miss my parents and I will soon return but now I have responsibilities in a world I love. I never fit in with vampires because I wasn't one. I am Fae. I realize the time I need to meet Feyre. I wander out to the garden and she smiles at me. We begin walking down the mazes of flowers before Feyre speaks.
" So are you excited for Starfall? "
" Yes of course! " I reply " umm is there a party before Starfall? "
" of course but you watch starfall with someone you love usually your mate and/or your children "
" Ohh cool I'll be there "
Feyre looked at me with sorry eyes.
" You can watch the Starfall with Rhys, Nyx and me "
" Oh, " I say " No I'm already watching it with my mate "
" YOUR WHAT! " Feyre screams so loud I thought I would go deaf. " Who is it?! "
" You'll find out tonight at the celebrations "
" You bet I will " and Feyre and I both giggle.
Just then Nyx comes running up the steps with a big grin on his face.
" Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Aunt Ness! Aunt Nessie! Aunt Ness! " he yells
Feyre bends down and humors him.
" What? What? What? "
" Guess what "
" What, " I say
" Daddy is going to the store to get you a gift for Starfall! And Me! " he basically screams with excitement.
" Now Nyx that's very exciting but we don't scream in the garden " Feyre scolds
" Oh Ya! " Nyx Whisper yells " Aunt Armen will get mad "
We all laugh.
" Feyre I need to get going to buy my Starfall gifts If it's ok with you I'm hoping to get Rhys to fly me into the City I'm still not the best Flyer "
" Oh ya sure I'll tell him to come to pick you up " when she's done she looks up " ok Ness he's at the front of the house I'll see you later! "
She waves me bye. Then she turns to Ness and says.
" How would you like to go paint something with me? "
Nyx nods & they head on their way.

I find Rhys at the front of the house where he said he would be.
" He Ness " He greets
" Hello Rhys "
" So you need a ride? "
" Clearly "
" Why don't you just winnow? "
I punch, he knows what happened last time I tried to winnow I ended throwing up all over myself. He laughs and picks me up & we fly down to the shops.
" I'll meet you back here in an hour, " Rhys asks.
" I'll be here "I reply
With that I watch the high lord of the night court fly away, right before I feel my legs fall out from under me & the world go dark.
Sorry, it took so long to update I'm really busy with school and Keeping up my GPA ( which takes a lot of work ) and I'm helping run a lot of fundraisers right now so please be patient with me!
