Alastor never showed it on the outside but he was nervous about being a father, his new daughter was so tiny and innocent. He was not innocent at all, he's a monster who has done horrible things alive and dead but he couldn't bring himself to regret it. He's been alone with Harmony for a long time now, wondering where Angel is since he is the mother figure and usually hates being away from both of them.
"Let's go find your mother darling." Alastor said softly, he even turned off the radio static in his voice since it's been so peaceful he didn't want to startle her. As they appeared on their floor to their room he saw Angel sitting on the bed looking down at his phone looking scared. "Is something wrong Angel?"
"Well, not really but.." Angel said.
Alastor appeared next to him and saw that on his phone was a contact that said, 'BRO' in his contacts. ''What is it?"
"Well my brother and I haven't been on the best terms but he still deserves to know he's an uncle now. Right?" Angel asked.
"Ah." Alastor nods now understanding. "Well do you trust him with our daughter?"
"Well.." Angel bit his lip thinking. "I don't think he would do anything to hurt her, he was an OK brother when we were alive."
"Tell you what." Alastor said giving Harmony to Angel. "We'll flip a coin, heads you tell, tails you don't tell."
"That's so stupid." Angel scoffed. "Let's do it."
Alastor flipped the coin and looked. "Tails."
"Oh." Angel said softly as he looked down at Harmony.
"You're telling him." Alastor said.
"Huh? But you said.."
"You were unhappy with the answer so now you know what you really want. Sometimes we don't know what choice is the right one until someone else makes the choice for you." Alastor grinned.
Angel smiled and kissed his husband's cheek "You're the best hon."
The next day a limo picked up Arackniss at a coffee shop. Making sure no one from his dad's gang was watching him he slowly slid in. He was happy for the tinted windows so he could easily see if he was being followed. He kept a heavy trench coat on and held down the hat to hide his face better as he walked into the Hazbin Hotel. After taking another look outside he sighed relieved before removing his coat and hat before walking in further.
"Hey bro." Angel said kinda nervously.
"Hey." Arackniss said suspiciously. "What was so important that you couldn't tell me over the phone or just meet me at the coffee shop?"
Angel scratched the back of his head wondering how he should start.
Arackniss dropped the tough guy act and actually looked at his brother concerned. "Anthony? Are you in trouble?"
"No." Angel quickly assured. "I'm great, better than ever actually it's just well... Maybe it's best if I show you. Al!"
Alastor walks in holding a bundle of something and passed it to Angel. "Niss, this is your niece."
Of all the things he expected his brother to tell him that wasn't one of them. "You two.."
"This big green thing asked us to adopt her daughter's baby and I always wanted a kid so I said yes." Angel explained.
"And I am enjoying myself being a father as well." Alastor spoked.
"Wanna hold her?" Angel asked.
Arackniss didn't really answer since he's never really held a baby before.
"It's ok." Angel assured as he helped his brother hold her. "Just be very careful, she's not even a week old yet."
Arackniss looked down at his niece, once again. Not what he expected. "Um... Her head's on fire."
Angel and Alastor both laughed.
"That's always the very first thing most people say." Alastor chuckled.
"She's beautiful Anthony." Arackniss said.
"Isn't she." Angel agreed fondly. "Look bro, I know you and I lost the brotherly love for a while but I want you to be a part of her life."
"Well it's dangerous with pops and all but yeah, I'd love to be her uncle. What's her name?"
"Harmony." Angel answered.
Arackniss looked back down at Harmony taking in her features. "Yeah, I'll protect her with my life."
