Chris's POV

"Theres no way you kept that disk I burnt for you." I say happily.

"Dude are you kidding me, this is our shit man, Thousand Foot Krutch." Keku says, placing the disk into the player, skipping to track 2.

"Welcome To The Masquerade, damn this feels ancient to listen to."

"Us three used to listen to this album all the time. Your favorite song is "Fire It Up". Keku says looking back at Rhea, earning a cheeky grin

"Your song was "E For Extinction" I remember that for sure."

"And Demi's was "The Part That Hurts The Most (Is Me)."

"Hey Keku do you have "The End is Where We Begin" on you or do you only have that disk?"

"Nah I'm sorry man this is the only one I got. Alright we have a long trip ahead of us. You girls ready?"

"Yeah." They all say in unison.

Keku started the album from the beginning, Track 1, Welcome To The Masquerade. I turned onto the parkway, roaring down the road, vibing with the song. Keku and I began to sing the lyrics together, as we usually did when were in the car together. It's always a good time when we are together, that's why I super excited to see him in wwe with me.

"Hey I got an idea." Keku says, looking to the back seat where the girls were, now staring at him.

"Shoot." Rhea says

"Would you guys wanna hear us play in a studio?"

"Sure." Scarlett says "Then we can see if two are any good.

"I heard that Scarlett, I take offense to that." I say, rolling my eyes at the blonde bombshell

I returned my eyes to the road, Track 2 "Fire It Up" came on. Keku immediately turned around bobbing his head to the nasty guitar riff, as did I. We began singing again, this time mostly me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Rhea and the girls vibing with the song. Rhea in particular singing along with Keku and I.

"That riff is fucking disgusting." I say, turning to Keku, who shook his head in unison with myself

Track 3 "Bring Me To Life" came on, Keku, Rhea and I resumed our singalong, while the others vibed with us. So far the best part of this experience has been the car ride to the studio, which was about an hour away from where we were now. Kekue and I were fucking goons up front, bobbing our heads and singing like mad men. It reminded me of the good ol' days

"Ohhh fuck my favorite is on." Keku says, singing along to Track 4 "E For Extinction.

Keku took charge in the singing for this track, being his favorite is all. I was surprised to see Rhea smiling and singing along with the both of us. Is this a sign or something? Eh who knows, I dont really care because I'm having a great time. I'm trying to savor it while it lasts.

"That song is fucking great, I havent heard it in forever." Keku says

Track 5 "Watching Over Me" a slower song from the album came on. I began to sing along, about a minute in, Rhea joins in with me. We both sang the lyrics in unison, it was a cool sight to see. We had chemistry together on that song.

"Great singing Demi." I say, winking at her thru the windshield mirror

"......Thanks." She says, rolling her eyes

"Tough crowd." I mumble

"What was that?"

"Uh..nothing....nothing at all."

Track 6, "The Part That Hurts The Most (Is Me) came on and immediately Keku, Rhea and I jumped onto singing duties.

(I wont go into the full album but believe me, it's a banger. Check out "Welcome To The Masquerade" by Thousand Foot Krutch on spotify or youtube if you havent already)

*****

1 hour later

I pulled into the parking lot of the local Philadelphia studio. Everyone got out of the van, following Keku and I inside the nicely kept building. We walked over to the lady at the desk, showing her our studio keys, letting us all go upstairs. I opened the strangely large door, placing my stuff in the booth with Keku.

"Its good to be back here." I say extending my fist to Keku

"Agreed." He says first bumping me.

"Man this place is nice." Shayna says, grabbing a computer chair, sitting in it.

"So what songs are you guys going to play?" Toni asks, looking over to Rhea, smiling

"Uh, the stuff that you guys heard in the car if that's alright." I say

"Demi come in the booth real quick." Keku says, motioning for her to come

"Dude what are you doing?"

"Dont worry about it."

"You called?" Demi says

"Yeah did you wanna sing with us? You be main vocals and we'll be back vocals and guitar."

"Sure why not. Let's do this." She says giving me a smirk, which I return
