He opened the door, his apartment was on the first floor and stood aside to let Ink in as he hit the lights. It was indeed simple, there was not much, but it was what one would think of as normal for someone that lived on their own. The walls were white, but they were broken up with a bookcase. Error had gotten it as a set, so why not use the shelves?

He put the painting and drawing on the counter as he walked past it, "T-the guest room is just over here... it's not as bare as it is out h-here," he said thinking that getting Ink away from white would be the best thing. The guest room had a bed, closet, and what one really expects in a guest room, but it had some decorations on the walls, some his mom had given him, and he put them up to make her happy. The room itself was more of a cream color as well, like a mix of yellow and white so error hoped it would be alright for ink. "Bathrooms r-right across the H-hall as well."

Ink follows sleepily, still hugging his new puppet as he looks around Error's apartment; he is glad it was nowhere near as bad as Blue had said. However, the white walls still bother him, so he speeds up his shuffle. Ink steps into the guest room with a grateful nod. "Thanks again, Error..."

He did feel comfortable with the cream walls and decorations. It was far from setting off his luekophobia.

Shuffling to the bed, he kicks off the tennis shoes he hates, and climbs onto the bed. And within minutes, the small artist is out like a light.

Error smiled seeing how fast Ink fell asleep and figured he should do the same thing and go to his room. His room had more electronics, mostly used for when he would stream games and plopped down on his bed. He was ready to sleep but like so many nights found that once he was ready to sleep, he couldn't. So he took a handheld off his side table and turned it on to see if playing it would help a little.

And like so many nights before he did end up falling asleep while he was playing it and so once he woke up the battery was dead, and he would have to charge it again for when he needed to use it to fall asleep again.

When Ink woke up the next day, he was more than ready to tackle the day. But he feels like he's forgetting something important. He definitely didn't recognize the room.

He fishes out his phone and checks it. He gives a little 'oh' as he remembers Error letting him stay. He looks for the puppet, falling off the bed in the process.

"Ow. That hurt." Ink groans.

Error once he woke up went out to his kitchen half asleep still and was going to get himself some cereal like he does every morning when he Hurd a thump in his guest room. At first, he thought someone had broken in...then he remembered that ink had stayed the night.

So he put the box of count chocolula down and went and knocked on the door. "Ink you okay," he asked. He might have just forgotten where he was and fallen out of bed. "Y-you stayed the night w-with me Incase you forgot."

"I remembered, but I can't find it!" Ink cries as he practically tears the room apart. He didn't want to lose the puppet. When he finally found it, he held it close as if it would disappear.

Ink stands up after a couple of minutes, slips his shoes on, and wipes his tears away.

Error was about to ask what he couldn't find when he opened the door to see Ink hugging the puppet. Error put two and two together and guessed maybe it fell off the bed while Ink was sleeping causing said panic. Even if Ink did lose it, he could always make another one for him.

"Y-you alright...?" he asked wanting to make sure his new friend was alright.

But since the issue seemed to have resolved itself, Error didn't worry about it. "W-well anyway. I h-have cereal i-if you w-want something to eat."
