"We know where the will is and the code. The issue is g-getting in a-and out while Ink's parents are not there." Error said as that would be the easiest way.
Nightmare smiles and looks at Killer and his other friends "Meaning we get to scare the hell out of them and mess with their cars and any cameras that are around."
Reaper would make Dream buy him two more for stealing his coffee. The most expensive ones. "Kay, though not sure how I can help with this, I just work with dead monsters," he said, though maybe he could see about Paperwork the uncle might have left.
Ink looks confused, "You work with dead monsters?"
Dream keeps drinking the coffee, listening to the conversation, "The only one that might be useless is, honestly, me. I have no special skills or anything."
Reaper nodded "Work in a morgue, deal with monsters' families setting up funerals, and taking care of the dust if there is any." He said, giving a shrug. "Also get access to a database if possible wills, last wishes and all that...if you had a lawyer, chances are I can find him to prove that will is real." he said looking over to dream, "And you got a great skill Dreamboat...your super cute." he said with a wink.
Dream almost chokes on the coffee, coughing. The comment caught him off guard.
"You're also good at calming monsters down Dream... you might not be able to help directly, but support means everything as well. " Nightmare said putting his hand on his brother's shoulder.
"I have no idea what a funeral is." Ink comments.
"It's something that's held sometimes after a monster dies so the living family and friends can say goodbye," Blue explained as simply as he could for Ink.
Error wouldn't be surprised if Ink wasn't allowed to go to his uncle's at the time considering how his parents were. "It's not e-exactly important, not e-everyone gets one. And I wouldn't put it p-past your parents to keep you from your uncle's ether."
Ink hides his face, "They didn't, with how adamantly they tried to hide me..."
Dream shivers before walking over to Ink and half-hugging him. "Do you think we can find where Ink's uncle was... laid to rest?"
"If I get a name I can see if I can," Reaper said, it wasn't like it was before computers where documents could get listed easily.
Nightmare sighed, so they were getting an idea. "Okay then, Ink do you know where your parents work? We can stake out their workplace so that will can be grabbed."
"Red and I can get it if you don't want to go back into that house." Blue offered.
"Ha, getting the chance to be a getaway driver, who the hell passes up that?"
Error was glad that someone could give Ink a hug, it looked like he really needed it. "Going back there is t-the last thing he needs." He didn't want Ink to have to relive any trauma anymore.
"My uncle had an odd name like me. His was Canvas." Ink mutters before shaking his head, "I don't know..."
"Nighty, I think I should stay here... Ink is on the verge of a breakdown..." Dream says, easing said skeleton to the couch. The golden skeleton seems uneasy as Ink curls up next to him on the couch.
"Ah, odd names just make it easier," Reaper said. It would help weed out more of the common ones at least. "I'll go start looking. Dreamboat, I'll call you when I find something... you still owe me some coffee too." he said.
Nightmare nodded "Like I would let you come do crime with us anyway." he said, and Ink needed someone with him. Though his friends were chuckling at the chance to flex their mischievous side.
