Error could hear crying before his eyes cleared. He turned his head towards Ink, wishing he could help more, but maybe all Ink needed was to let his emotions out right now. "...I-its going to b-be okay now Ink," he said
Fresh looked at the two monsters threw the mirror, it really did seem like they just picked up where they left off. Something that fresh was glad for, at least for error.
Ink looks up after a minute, "I know... It was just... A lot for me to handle... He hit me..." The smaller skeleton takes a deep breath and wipes his face, "At least I know exactly what I meant to them." Ink straightens out and buckles up.
"HE DID WHAT," error said, angry that he didn't do more to them than wreck their living room. He should have hurt Ink's father back for everything. His eyes cleared up as he sighed. "Just d-do what you n-need," he said since he didn't mind Ink going through whatever he needed to help himself with his emotions.
He buckled in, and Fresh took them back to his apartment. Once they were there, he helped Ink bring his things in and told Fresh they were even now as Fresh left.
"My cheek still hurts..." Ink sighs. He really couldn't believe it. Ink couldn't help the tiny smile at how protective Error seemed to be."Maybe we could celebrate this. Since it's a pretty big thing..." Ink suggested. "Just us."
Celebrating sounded like a good idea.
"We can order takeout to celebrate," he said with a smile, they could set Ink's room up later.
Error remembered that junk food was a no-go for Ink's parents "Junk food is always a good way to celebrate something." Well for him anyway. They could get some fancy takeout this time. The last screw you to Ink's parents.
Ink brightens up and gives a cheer. "I like that idea!" The artist seemed to at least push what happened to the back of his mind. He was happy that he could finally live his own life. "Thank you for everything, Error."
Error smiled at Ink, Sure it might not seem like a good idea to let someone move in after knowing them for just one day. But well they have known each other for a long time so it counted for Error. "I have a bunch of menus of take-out places...You get to pick which this time," he said, going to the kitchen and opening the drawer that he kept them in. He had menus from burger places, Chinese food, pizza, everything that was not considered healthy. Everything in moderation after all, right? And they could figure out the small things later. For now, Ink gets to live his own life and Error will let him start by picking what sounds good.
Ink looks at them before landing on burgers. He never got to eat a real burger. Just a vegetarian one. Frankly, it was disgusting. "This sounds good. Always wanted to try a real burger and good fries. Advice, don't try veg burgers. Nasty."
Error smiled feeling a little happy that he was the cause of Ink getting his first real burger. "I heard there b-bad, nothing against the m-monsters that do like them but w-what are they thinking?" He said, looking over the menus for a burger place he knew was good, it was a little pricy, but Error wanted Ink to have a good first experience. "A-all right, here's a good place... and i-its on me so get whatever burger looks good to you," he said already on the website on his phone and putting what he normally gets in
Ink looks through it before deciding on a double cheeseburger with bacon and fries. "As long as you're okay with it." Ink says. "And maybe you should warn your friends, in case my parents try anything. Since, knowing them, they will."
Error put that in and hit the order and pays for it. His address was already on file there, so there were no worries about that.
Error chuckled at the thought of them trying anything with his friends "I'd like to see them try, if I tell my friends their house will go up in flames." He was not fully making that up either. "But i-I'll let them k-know, so they can get s-scared half to death." They deserved it after all though.
