"Has the patient arrived?" Jisung asked everyone in the emergency room
"Not yet, they're almost here. The patient was a man on his mid-20s with no serious medical history." Jeongin replied
Minutes later, a sound of siren was heard from the outside signalling that the ambulance has arrived
The patient arrived alongside with the first aid team
"What happened?" Minho asks the first aider
"Lee Taeyang, 22, Visible GS wound on the chest with exit wound in the back. He loss a lot of blood." the first aider replied
Jisung assessed the patient and found the entrance wound but no exit wound
"His vitals?" Jisung asked the first aider as the nurses are putting electrodes on the patient's chest to see his current heart rate
"Last time we checked, 80/60 and pulse is 90" the first aider replied
"Okay, thank you. Dr. Kim, Book and prepare the OR 1. Felix, page Dr. Lee" Jisung said while covering the wound
Minho rushed towards him and checked the patient immediately.
"I'm here, let's go people. Han, you can assist me on this."
"Okay, Dr. Lee." Jisung replied as they both rushed to the OR
When the patient was being prepared inside the OR, Jisung and Minho are outside wearing their surgical cap and mask. Both of them are scrubbing before going in. The two stopped near the sink and washed their hands using an antiseptic foam soap to sanitize and clean their hands for surgery
"Ready?" Minho asked
"Yep, let's go"
After the two finished sanitizing, the two was welcomed with Jeongin handing them the personal protective suit and surgical gloves.
"Things will be better after your surgery" Jisung told the patient who's now unconscious after Seungmin injected the anesthesia
"Let's start, Scalpel please"
