"Have you heard that Dr. Seo is operating on a scoliosis patient later today?" Jeongin asked
"No, really? That's a good case" Jisung replied as he finishes charting
"Yes, I get to scrub in too. I heard that they'll remove some of the ribs to perform it." Jeongin replied
"That's possible, I mean our ribs can grow on its own eventually after surgery. It is known to heal itself and regrow" Jisung explained
"Now it makes sense. Thanks for the enlightenment" Jeongin said
"No worries and you're always welcome" Jisung replied
"Anyways, I've got to go. I am still checking on my patient" Jeongin replied waving goodbye to Jisung as Jisung smiled at him
"Excuse me, are you Han Jisung?" A voice from behind was heard and Jisung looked to who it was
"Yes sir, you look very familiar" Jisung replied with furrowed brows
"I am Dr. Lee Minho's father, the one you operated on successfully" Minho's father said making Jisung looked at him in shock
"Hi sir, it's so nice to see you being healthy and well. I'm so sorry if I haven't recognized you instantly." Jisung replied
"Do you have some time to spare? I need to talk to you" Minho's father asked
"Yes sir, we can talk now. I can pass my shift to my fellow surgeon and catch up with my duties later today" Jisung replied earning a smile from Minho's father

"I'm gonna ask you about Minho, how's he these days? He haven't been contacting us for weeks now. I approached you because you two seem... close"
Jisung's eyes shifted and became uncomfortable
"I honestly don't know sir, he's okay I think, we haven't been talking lately. I'm so sorry, we've been busy with our own surgeries these week maybe because that's why." Jisung replied and smiled
"Oh okay, let me ask about you"
Jisung's throat dried up because of nervousness
"Do you know why I let you work in my hospital?" Jisung looked at him in confused
"Yes you heard it right, it's my hospital and I was once the chief there until I passed it to Dr. Bang the torch. But I still am in the board of the hospital" Minho's father explained
"I really don't recall as to why you accepted me on your hospital sir, I'm so sorry" Jisung replied apologetically
"No, it's all fine. I hired you because me and my son once went on to several medical schools to find the best of the best aspiring surgeons and you were one of the students that caught my attention. You excel on doing surgery that the current surgeons struggled on. Also, you were caught by my son's attention that time and he told me that you're good and very well-fit in the field of Cardiothoracic. Someday, you can be the head of the Cardiothoracic and I want you on my team."
"Really? That's maybe why I found Minho familiar the first thing I laid my eyes on him when I entered the premises. Thank you for the compliments sir but I don't suppose to know what are you talking about" Jisung replied
"I heard about your application form to Seattle that you sent few weeks ago. I am disappointed and I am here to hold you back. But if you're decision is final then I wholeheartedly accept it and support your journey."
"I still haven't made my decision sir and it wasn't final sir so rest assured because I'm not going anywhere anytime soon" Jisung replied
Jisung starts to contemplate his life decisions. A new start in Seattle or become the head of Cardiothoracic in the future.
